Support and Criticism are not that far apart from each other. If any player doesn't seem to be giving 100% they will get criticised, but that doesn't mean we do not support them. Mahrez is a fantasic player, but it is slightly frustrating when you spend a lot of money travelling down to Wembley last Sunday just to see him look disinterested.

fridoux Posted 10 August 2016 Posted 10 August 2016 rachid ghezzal or ryad boudebouz would be perfect in case mahrez leave, left footed, evaluated around 8 millions, same street football style than mahrez.
GaelicFox Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 He is going no where and happy to stay on same terms this season ! His agent is playing the Long game
foxy boxing Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 he's staying at least for this season so let's get behind him and hope he reproduces his skills from last season to dazzle and make idiots of opposition defenses again

If we're matching his ambitions in January (still in CL, still fighting near the top end), and we still have the spirit among the squad, then it will be the same again and hopefully he'll stay. If not, he'll have given us three years, been a crucial part in transforming the club into title winners, and entitled to move on if he wants to. By then, we should have a strong enough squad of integrated players to manage...

Good post, i spoke to stringer at airport for Celtic game, and he pretty much said exactly what uve said,if we're out of all cup competitions in January and mid table then he will leave, But if we mirror last season or are flying in the cups he will stay,a lot of the above will be down to mahrez himself,if he plays well so will the team, hence hopefully he'll stay? are you stringer
Always Next Year Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 We will see just how much he wants to be here this weekend against Dull City. If he plays like he as in the last 3 warm up games, get him off at half time, stick Gray on, slap a £60 mil price tag on him, play him in the second string and let him rot. BALLS IN YOUR COURT MAHREZ PROVE TO US ALL THAT THIS IS WHERE YOU WANT TO BE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Non existant again, I like love him but needs to sort his head out.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Mahrez wasn't as great as he was last year but he was better than Morgan, Simpson, King and Vardy put together so I would lay off.
Russell sprout Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 He's so predictable, he's a great talent but when people on here say he's a pleasure to watch I really don't get it,he's massively overrated and if we got 50mil for him we would be Having arsenals pants down
crisp packet Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 If we are not careful,we will push one of the most talented players out of our club .. very short memories.
Guest Manini Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 AT THE MOMENT....I wouldn't be too arsed if we cashed in and sold him. He looks awful at the mo, totally void of any confidence of interest. He'll bag a trick next week and I'll piss myself at this post

LcFc_Smiv Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Stop giving a talented player an easy way out, he was pish! Vardy, Morgan, Simpson, Drinkwater, King, Gray and Fuchs were all woeful, but Mahrez has looked nowhere near good enough through preseason!
lgfualol Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Needs to sign that contract. He'll be his usual self again when he does and can concentrate on us. Teams do know how to stop him more now though, he cuts on his left and literally has a wall of players to his right and usually bully him off the ball because he doesn't square it.

Russell sprout Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Is it wise to start him against arsenal, clearly his head is all over the place, seems he wants the move but we're not letting it
