in conclusion. if mahrez leave(hopefully he doesn't). you "fans" should not come to the thread to say anything. not a single word. we all know what you think about him. you wanted him put in the bench. here is something even better. he leaves. so don't come and call him a traitor because you are the traitors for not standing behind your player

 

 

 

 

edit: being a fan for just two years does not mean i support this club any less than people how are fans for 20 years

 

Mahrez cost us 4 points with his missed penalties...

if he had score those we would be 4 pts ahead!!!

sorry if my post made you suffer. i only picked up english from tv. the second language of my country is french.(i can understand it. talk a little french but that's about it). i know what i want to say. but  i can't expres it with words ( i blame the lack of great grammar fundamentals)

lol. oh those were the days. i remember some "fans" going on and on and on about it like he did not win matches and single handedly give the team 3 points. and the funny thing is he did not miss the pens in the last minute. i think the bournemouth one was in the first half and the second was in the start of the second half  IIRC. the team had alot of time to grab i goal

The only thing i won't miss if he does move on is all the Mahrez Algerian riders on the Facebook page on every f**king post the Club makes.

At the risk of sacrilege and being attacked for saying something not necessarily popular, I'm starting to wonder if selling Mahrez might now be the best thing to do...for one thing we won't have to go through all this with him every window. If his heart is no longer in it, we should move on, and see if others can step up.

 

On the other hand, he might be more than happy to remain. In which case, give the man the ball...

If he was so happy to stay why has it taken so long for him to sign a new contract. At least Vardy had the excuse he was away with England.

I think he is waiting for one of 3 teams then he will be off. Just bothers me if he is sulking around soon it could upset others.

why are you mad tho!!!. you are making it sound like they are knocking on your door steps and yelling "mahrez is the greatest thing since sliced bread" let them have fun. they are not hurting anybody. it is rare for them to have a very good player, let alone the player of the season. yes some of them are annoying but you can justify that it is passion. you are only taking the bad and leaving the good . i saw with my own eyes people closing their shops. missing work and missing school just to watch the team. i for once missed a couple of exams to watch leicester and i was in the last year of high school (barely made it to college). and i had a friend (that i was watching games with. he is in his first year of college) miss a couple of exams just to watch the team with me and he failed to go from the first to the second year becouse he missed alot of them. what am trying to say is. it is easy to form an opinion when you only know one side of the story

Were they watching Leicester or were they watching Mahrez? If Mahrez moves on to another Club will they still all watching Leicester games?

i can't talk about everybody. but i rarely see mahrez talked about when people talk about leicester.they really like the club. all you can here is "vardy can easily start ahead of kane" "kanté is a machine" "morgen is a tank" "huth is good but he cant pass to save his live" . yes mahrez is the reason people here started watching but the team is the reason they started following the club. a lot of my friends were angry that vardy did not start for england in the euros. i once walked past an old man (70-80 years old). i did not take him for a football fan and i heard him talk about the team's players (not just vardy and kanté but about danny. drinkwater. fuchs and marc) and my mouth dropped. i will not say that they are not watching leicester just becouse of mahrez but i will say they really cheer for the team and the players one by one

You are getting confused. We aren't asking him to dribble around three players or nutmeg a player a game, no, we're asking for 100% and team work. That's a bare minimum requirement from every player at the club.

 

No offence but I'm getting pissed off at your posts because you wouldn't even be interested in Leicester City if it wasn't for Mahrez. Some of us "fans" (as you put it) go to every game, spend a hell of a lot of money travelling around the Country and so if Mahrez doesn't put a shift in then I'm going to criticize him. I don't care if he's World player of the year... Do you think Manchester United fans can't criticize just because they've won twenty odd league titles? Just because we criticise doesn't mean we're less of a fan that anybody else. If people are happy to sit back and not moan, fair play, but their expectations of a player are far different from mine.

for the last part of my rant. i apologized to another poster here for it because it was in the heat of the moment. of course people like you and him support the club financially more than me. now to the second thing. people like you just can't handle a flair player in the club. all you want is an average consistently good squad player that can offer defense(i.e marc). do you think hazard. sanchez. messi. neymar. robben and other flair players are asked to defend as much as mahrez. no they are not. and they are all better than mahrez physically. i imagine you played football. do you remember a time when you ran so match to get the ball then in the moment that you have the ball you feel like you can't run with the ball, you feel like your legs are stuck in mud. now imagen a 60 kg winger that runs to cover every time the other team attack( and that is a lot) then getting the ball. building up the play. then running the whole pitch for the 20the time. then bienge expacted to do something magical every time. and what did he get in return. fans like you calling him "unprofessional". because he seemed out of breath in a friendly. what an amazing fans you are.

Mahrez isn't the only flair player we've ever had at this football club, believe it or not, and I don't need someone who likes one player telling me about our fans. They'll be certain games where Mahrez won't play, they'll be certain weeks where Albrighton won't play as they offer different things. I'm not comparing myself to a professional football either but Mahrez isn't "expected" to do something magical every time he gets the ball, this is why I said you're getting confused. Never once did I mention words like "unprofessional" either.

all i ask is complete support. not just for mahrez. but for every one. why do you have to jump to the conclusion that i only support leicester because of mahrez. i supported england becouse of vardy and france becouse of kanté. i love this club. i know that senior fans are thinking that i am a glory hunter just because under my name it says Joined: 12-December 15. that doesn't mean i became a fan on 12th of december 2015 (actually i am a fan since the end of 2014. and i know it was not long ago) i just joined here in the end of 2015 to just interact with other foxes fans give him a break. that's all i am asking
