A Fan gathering for Champions league Draw

Recommended Posts

The draw for the group stage will be held on 25 August 2016, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco at 6pm

I Wonder could the council or club organise a big screen at the KP or in town for the draw it would be a fantastic tea time event to be part of.

when I was a kid I wouldn't sleep the night before the 3rd round draw of the FA cup , my daughter is ticking off the days to this champions league draw , it's a massive moment in the clubs history and I think it would be great if fans could share that moment together in significant numbers.

anyone know if there are any club or city council plans or who we could pressure to sort this ?

Our council need to forget about welcoming ultras from Europe and focus on keeping all of us happy !

The only time I've ever seen that happen in a public place is that scene in the Football Factory where they have the Cup draw on in a nightclub. Just like what happens in real life.

The CL draw drags on for ages and isn't a particularly engaging watch. I'll just check on the BBC website when it's done.

Said no Leicester fan, ever.

im in two minds as to who i'd prefer.

I'd like a big team as, well... its huge glamour ties isn't it? yet at the same time i'd love to finish top of the group and get through to the knockout stages....

At least one glamour tie is likely.  We can't meet Arsenal or Man City in the group, and Napoli, Dortmund and Sevilla are all in Pot 2. That's five of the possible 8, and the remainder are likely to be teams like Roma and Basel.

I think it'd be nigh on impossible for us to get a group without at least one attractive away trip.

In all seriousness though, if you want to make this a communal event just go down to your local with your mates surely? Might actually help having everyone in the same place if you're going to get stuck in to booking travel and hotels straight away. lol

Lol, didn't have my glasses on when I wrote it,

"get out more " to experience the finer things in life if you are serious about a fans gathering.

Absolutely no chance of it happening
