Dan Posted 29 August 2016 Author Posted 29 August 2016 Las Palmas absolutely on fire early doors. Great stuff from them. They're an FM soft spot club. Beat Granada 5-1 yesterday and I saw the highlights. The goalkeeping was embarrassing
Dan Posted 30 August 2016 Author Posted 30 August 2016 Valencia look as much of a shambles as they did last season.
foxy boxing Posted 4 September 2016 Posted 4 September 2016 Garath bale has apparently angered his team mates by asking for a pay rise clearly thinks he's not earning enough. That's the trouble with having lots of superstars at one club. Lots of envy and jealousy plus massive egos
Wymsey Posted 10 September 2016 Posted 10 September 2016 Barcelona currently losing at home to Alaves. Alaves scored with only shot on target, whilst Neymar missed a sitter with a header wide.
Dan Posted 11 September 2016 Author Posted 11 September 2016 Another interesting weekend so far. Barcelona's result a complete shock, Alaves have incredibly now taken four points from Camp Nou & Vicente Calderon in the first three games. Shame Sevilla v Las Palmas was during our game, that was always going to be a good game and it proved to be one. Atletico & Real both with big wins. Atletico's first win of the season. Valencia look in serious trouble this season. 2-4 to Las Palmas, 1-0 at Eibar and now 2 down at home to Betis. That's relegation form.
Dan Posted 11 September 2016 Author Posted 11 September 2016 within five minutes of that post Valencia have got it back to 2-2 with ten men.
lcfcben76 Posted 11 September 2016 Posted 11 September 2016 Maybe Neville wasn't the problem with Valencia

Dan Posted 21 September 2016 Author Posted 21 September 2016 Barcelona and Real Madrid both drop points at home. Been a long time since that happened on the same night surely? Atletico getting their act together after a poor start.
ScouseFox Posted 21 September 2016 Posted 21 September 2016 las palmas got battered tonight and dropped outside the CL places. nightmare. we'll be back though. gonna win the league. kevin prince got sent off too the thug.
Dan Posted 21 September 2016 Author Posted 21 September 2016 Tonight must be viewed as their Leicester 2-5 Arsenal. Just a bad night all-round. They'll be back and will not lose again until Christmas, starting with a victory over Real Madrid at the weekend.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 September 2016 Posted 22 September 2016 Made the mistake of watching a bit of Depor on Monday was it? What a fcking dire game
Corky Posted 24 September 2016 Posted 24 September 2016 Little Eibar at it again, 10 points from six games in their third straight season in La Liga, average attendance 4k.

They managed back-to-back promotions in 2014 but didn't have enough money at first. A fund was set up to donate to get enough capital to let them enter, they started off really well but fell away and finished 18th, only to be reprieved by Elche being relegated for financial issues. Since then they've finished comfortably last year, at one point even pushing for Europe, and have begun in good form again. All with little money and a small ground. Shows how far team spirit and good management can take you.

Wymsey Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 I admire Celta, lots of flair and very similar to us.
Wymsey Posted 2 October 2016 Posted 2 October 2016 4-2 now. Like Chris Wood's goal at Watford. Goalkeeper takes ages, boots it in opposition's body and in.
