There was a time when Lawro was right at the top of my Football Kill List, but he's been displaced by the more arrogant Danny Mills, the more clueless Peter Beagrie, the biased Glenn Hoddle and the more insane Garth Crooks. Mark Lawrenson - the village idiot of football punditry. We musn't hate the idiot, but embrace him for what he is. For me Lawro resembles an old man who buys his Grandson a Sega Dreamcast on the day the PS2 was released insisting it's the 'in thing', the guy who laughs at a joke before he's heard the punchline, the guy who still calls Snickers 'Marathon', the guy who still answers his phone with 'whazzuup'. Behind the times, out of touch and unable to catch up. I think the time has come for Lawro to put himself out of his misery and spend his days on the Fairways at Lytham ranting about the glory days of Liverpool and wondering for ever more how the fcuck Leicester City made an even bigger fool of him than he already was. Now there are four pundits far more deserving of anyone's wrath. Peter Beagrie - how did he ever get a job? Danny Mills - at first he sounds articulate and then you realise he's mastering the extraordinary technique of sticking his head so far up his own Arse whilst still managing to talk out of it. Glenn Hoddle - can I tea bag you please Mr. Kane whilst Mr. Dier takes me from behind? I'll even toss Rose and Walker off at the same time Garth Crooks - the very worst of them all for me. He makes my skin crawl. He knows absolutely nothing. Talks absolute bollocks with such gravitas that it's like he's delivering the solution to the civil war in Syria. Lawro - talks complete rubbish. Loves Liverpool irrationally and unconditionally, but he's kind of endearing and, to an impressionist, he's something sent from heaven.
MarkDeVirus Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Pretty much all of the Liverpool clan are deluded/irritating *****. Danny Murphy Michael Owen Graham Souness Steve McManaman Jamie Redknapp Carragher's about the only one I don't mind.

Just to reiterate, I'm not bothered. ...or hot.

Just a horrible scrote who patronised us and put us down many times last season. I don't think there's anything wrong with Lawro predicting us to lose sometimes, but people cannot deny some of the negative predictions he had for us last season were completely ludicrous. If my memory serves me right, had he been correct every week we and West Ham would have finished below West Brom last season (or certainly we were below them until very late in the season). This thread is clearly based on that rather than him thinking we might lose a difficult away match. However, not sure how we've had an 'iffy' start, if that's what he actually said. What we had was one awful game and 2 very good ones and it's hard to argue we weren't robbed of 2 points in one of them.
Gazza M Posted 10 September 2016 Posted 10 September 2016 How many Premier titles have Liverpool won? That's maybe why we don't get much warm feeling from them.
foxinsocks Posted 10 September 2016 Posted 10 September 2016 he is no longer a serious pundit... he is just a Liverpool correspondent for the beeb

Yeah...... cant believe he didn't go for a bigger win margin for Liverpool myself. Dinosaur. funny how it's all gone quiet in here since mid afternoon.
