majaco Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Hooray! Lawro predicts we will lose. A sense of doom descends upon me if he predicts we will win. On 5Live he talked about Leicester's iffy start to the season. It was as if this was in contrast to Liverpool. I have a hunch we will still be above Liverpool after tomorriw.
Dan Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 I do find it odd how we're being perceived to have started slowly by a few (not just divs like Lawro), I'd say we've been average really, nothing too much either way. Lawro's one of the most biased pundits going.
rn9013 Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 The bloke is absolutely clueless. Does he realise how deluded he sounds??
Dr The Singh Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Meh, were all entitled to opinions, he is a Liverpool fan and a cock so leave him be
justfoxes Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 So has Merson !! I'm really hoping we do them over and beat them 0-4 Slimani Vardy Mahrez and Morgan !

Brooksy Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Lawro hasn't predicted a Liverpool defeat for about 8 seasons so obviously he's gonna have them down to beat us.
Clever Fox Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 I love it when we're underdogs, It just shows how much they have studied us really. If they had they'ed know were back at the job. Our only problem is all of the travelling and how it effects the players. I still expect Slimani to come on and score the winner.
RedSoxUK Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 It's as if he didn't watch what happened the last time we played Liverpool... I'm not too worried.
gerrytaggart Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 I have a good feeling about this game and I have a bad feeling about lawro.
Fox92 Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Dunno why people get bothered about what pundits say or predict. Lawrence predicted us to not score last time we went to Anfield, everybody laughed, and he was right. It'll be a tough game. Simple as that.

I don't know why people get hot and bothered by deciding that people are hot and bothered when they're not really hot and bothered but only exaggerating a mild reaction to Lawro who does get hot and bothered but isn't worth getting hot and bothered about . Just to reiterate, I'm not bothered.

It's been an average points return but performance wise the good outweighs the bad.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 he has predicted us to be unbeaten for the past 3 games tbf, no idea why you'd be rattled by the fact that he fancies Liverpool over us

To be fair it seems like a lot of you didn't watch the last time we played Liverpool at anfield If anything. Very hard fixture, hoping for the best myself hopefully we can get something but I think you can be forgiven for going for a Liverpool win, although he'd have Liverpool down to beat the 1970 Brazil team in the maracana so yet again I don't know why it's even a talking point or yet again why the Fck anyone cares.
sylofox Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 none of it really matters just the result. We would all pick city he picks pool if it was that easy no bookie would ever offer a bet. Let's just take a leaf out the scouse book and nick the fvckin points.
Tuna Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 The beeb has phased Lawro out of their TV coverage, having deemed him out of date and unfashionable, yet his banal rambling's still percolate through Five Live and the online Lawro predictions which I can only assume are still being published for the amusement of most sensible football fans. There was a time when Lawro was right at the top of my Football Kill List, but he's been displaced by the more arrogant Danny Mills, the more clueless Peter Beagrie, the biased Glenn Hoddle and the more insane Garth Crooks. Mark Lawrenson - the village idiot of football punditry. We musn't hate the idiot, but embrace him for what he is. For me Lawro resembles an old man who buys his Grandson a Sega Dreamcast on the day the PS2 was released insisting it's the 'in thing', the guy who laughs at a joke before he's heard the punchline, the guy who still calls Snickers 'Marathon', the guy who still answers his phone with 'whazzuup'. Behind the times, out of touch and unable to catch up. I think the time has come for Lawro to put himself out of his misery and spend his days on the Fairways at Lytham ranting about the glory days of Liverpool and wondering for ever more how the fcuck Leicester City made an even bigger fool of him than he already was.
st albans fox Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Despite his weekly predictions, Lawro at least recognised the fact that we were as likely as anyone to win the league beginning last April. Most of the other pundits were continuing to predict our bubble to burst right through to the beginning of May.
Izzy Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 Can't believe this nob keeps getting his own threads on here. His opinion isn't worth the steam off my piss.
majaco Posted 9 September 2016 Author Posted 9 September 2016 Lawro added entertainment to our first Premier League championship (I never believed it could happen, now I look forward to it happening again). Every week, I hoped he'd predict we lose as a good omen. My wife became used to me yelling in delight, "Lawro's predicted we'll lose!" I stopped looking at the end of last season. I was too busy eating every last millimetre of my finger nails. But in the crazy world of the kaleidoscope brain of Lawro, he hadn't predicted that a mediocre Liverpool would lose in over thirty games. Having suported Leicester for over four mainly unsuccessful decades, Lawro's poor punditry is part of my joy.

Whenever I read the name Mark Lawrenson, I get this odd feeling for a second or two - it's when I start thinking that he might actually be biased.
Merging Cultures Posted 9 September 2016 Posted 9 September 2016 he has predicted us to be unbeaten for the past 3 games tbf, no idea why you'd be rattled by the fact that he fancies Liverpool over usI think that's the point. He is the anti-Rachel. He is the Sean Lock to our Susie Dent. He's a grumpy cvnt who when he predicts we'll lose, we win. So bring it on you poor commentator. Sarah Millican is a better comedian than you are a pundit. Tell us we'll lose, because we love to be the plucky underdog.
