Yea he was hella mad looking to make any excuse. TJ got smoked. I think Henry gets underrated just about every fight  he’s a savage though. Hope he goes to 135 and takes TJ’s belt

Lol he might start hating Henry like he does Woodley. Dana doesn't like when someone mess with his plans.

 

I won't doubt him any longer. The guy is very good but I don't know what happens if they fight at 135. 

 

Maybe it's a chance for Dana if Henry moves up and the 125 division is shut down.

Surley that has to be the back up plan. If they’re serious about shutting it down anyway. To be fair cejudo did it and did it excitingly I mean he went in and just let fly from second one.

It's surprising how strong he was. Everytime TJ tried to get up, Henry just shoved him down with ease. People love to watch KO's, just give them that and they will be watched more. It's just that the they are too small. It's the reason I love LW, WW and MW. Those are the perfect mix of power and skill. MW has some nasty killers and Bobby just sitting at the top after facing absolute savages!

Yea I’d add LHW into that too. They’re powerful and have some really technically gifted fighters. Plus the goat. Featherweight has some real savages in it too, but they probably shouldn’t be in that division and should be in a 165 division that they hopefully will make.

I’ve a seen rumours of a few fights going around and almost anyway the UFC play this is going to be amazing. Can’t wait to see how it actually all plays out.

Tbh bro, I've never watched a live bellator show. I was really tempted by some fights like the Chael vs Fedor fight or the Moose vs Rory but never really gave bellator an honesty try. I'm still upset about what happened to Whittaker. The card's grade just got nuked when he got hurt.

 

Maybe I will watch the fights if I got time. Thanks for telling me

I was in the same boat but the last couple I’ve watched have been a lot better than I thought they’d be. Yea the Whittaker thing was abit rubbish but atleast you still had adesanya vs Silva.

Is the commentary any good? Watched a highlight of MVP and he has some spida in him and blitzes like Woodley. He seems like a natural fighter (like JBJ, Izzy and Zabit). Think I would actually watch this and see.

The commentators are good but the main ones voice annoys me abit but I’m slowly getting over it  

 

MVP is a real natural born fighter, his background in show karate is why he fights the way he does. Considering he’s been known as the English Silva, Dana has been awfully critical of his style. Refuses to sign him for the way he fights.

I kinda get where Dana is coming from. The style is entertaining but the chances of him getting caught moving forward are very high. There are some heavy hands in the UFC and tbh, a fighter that loose isn't always a safe bet. From what I saw, he looks like a less-fluid but more explosive Silva. I knew little about him from what I've read in the MMA sub-reddit but he seems to be a fighter with a fan friendly style.

His background is show karate so it’s all about sticking your chin out to get the other guy to throw, he doesn’t get hit. It’s just funny that his biggest asset for ears was silva who did it because he wanted to. Where as MVP who he hates. His whole combat background is built around that style. He’d do amazing in the UFC no doubts at all.

Oh lord what a poor weekend to stay up and watch the fights! Maybe the most curse weekend ever. Actually thought it was a really entertaining card tonight to be fair... the Luque v Barberena fight might already be the fight of the year, both those boys took some serious years off their life with that scrap. Kron Gracie looks like he could be the real deal if he is nurtured well. Obviously Caceres is a bit of a gatekeeper but Kron showed zero nerves or hesitation and got the job done. Shout out to Renan Barao for possibly the biggest fall from grace in combat sports history - from probably top 3 p4p to a complete embarrassment - can't make weight, can't even compete. Could be after the TJ knockout or, more likely, USADA doing their job. What is he like 1-6 in his last 7? Atrocious. Rivera also looked pretty poor.

 

Rough seeing Velasquez go out like this. He deserves better but his body is done now, at least at the level required for UFC. His knee collapsed in open workouts and it gave way for him again tonight (with a pretty nasty Ngannou uppercut mind you). After midweek saying he would be done if he couldn't compete at a top level it does seem like this may be the last we've seen of him. I'm a Ngannou fanboy but this fight hasn't really done much for him, we still don't know how much his takedown defence has improved or if the hype train is back on the tracks for him. Would like to see him vs a Volkov or beating the brakes off someone like Greg Hardy before he is given a Stipe rematch or anything along those lines. Think Ngannou would have won even without Cain's injury but what an unfortunate anticlimax that fight was. Heavyweight division looking thinner than ever

Unfortunatley all the pre fight talk of a war from Daley was all talk and no action. Thought he could win by taking MVP down. Glad I didn’t stay up in the end  

 

Ngannou wins again. DC needs to stop ducking the entire division whilst constantly telling people he’s the greates fighter of all time. He won’t fight stipe he won’t fight ngannou. There’s no way he’s fighting Jones again either. He’s being a bitch and ruining his own legacy.

Can't remember seeing a better card than this one. Weigh-ins going well so far praying there's no slip ups or injuries. Hoping the Zabit hypetrain doesn't get derailed as well.. Stephens is hit or miss but he has that power that Zabit lacks
