That's Al Yaquinta to you! He real brocklyn gangster.

Can't help but like the guy. He's fairly funny and any fighter that get Khabib's respect, gets Mine. Even his call-out to Conor was good.

But like Chael sonnen says, Just how good is Khabib? Lol

Who would you choose in a khabib vs tony fight?

Abvously Khabib. Tony has great stamina but he's too OK with people taking him down for my liking. I see Khabib draining Tony out in the first 2 rounds then finish Tony in the third with a D'arce (like he promised Tony) or a Kimura.

Think Tony would be Khabibs hardest fight but think khabib would maul him in the end as e does with everyone because he’s an absolute bear wrestling god lol Any combination of Connor/Tony/poirer/Nate would all be great fights too. Throw Holloway in if he moves up and to be fair to him Ortega too. The division looks insanely stacked lol

That Barboza Hooker fight was hilarious.

What year is it mate?  ?

The bloke didn't have a clue where he was in the final stages but he just wouldn't go down.

Barbozas kicks are the best I've seen of anyone so far.

Fair play to him he’s a tough fella. Barboza is a savage and is probably one the best kickers in the sport to be fair it turned out to be a really good night. The undercard had some great fights too

I honesty don't think so. People sleep on Khabib's guard. He's very active and is an elite defensive and offensive wrestler with high octagon IQ. Khabib's a chain wrestler and doesn’t start his GnP until he get's position so it's very hard to stand with him after getting taken down . I don't think Eddie's 10th planet Jiu-jitsu is gonna help him Much vs Khabib.

Tony vs Max would be FOTY. But don't get Khabib and Max on the same fight. Khabib proved that he has the answer for pure boxers and he's just bigger. I also want to see a Conor vs Max rematch.

Looking forward to the 29th and Jones having read his backstory.

Tony is a tricky lanky fighter and I could see him causing problems. Mcgregor could only beat khabib if khabib couldn’t absorb his punches where as much is I agree khabib would win and win easily Tony is a weird guy and you couldn’t really rule anything out apart from he’ll lose the wrestling fight. Knows what he’s doing on the ground though.

Tony vs max would be insane they’d go in there for one thing only and that’d be for an all out war. Would be a brilliant scrap to watch. They’re both to fearless and beleive in themselves to much for it to even be a slightly cagey fight.

Yea I can’t wait! A lot of people don’t like him for what he’s down outside of the ring and there’s no doubt he’s done some disgusting stuff he is for me the greatest MMA fighter ever. He’s just the perfect balance of everything. Can’t wait to see him fight again.

232 is moved to LA and Jon Jones is making me mad. UFC just anounced that his test came back with "atypical findings". Fight still on tho.

Smh.

I want gus to win this badly. @ARTY_FOXI don't really know why Jones is getting this much care from Dana. It's not like he's generating as much PPV buys like Conor.

I do have a feeling that there will be atleast one eyepoke lol

Not too fussy about who wins but for his in ring ability I do like watching jones fight. Yea he’s an absolutely disgusting person at times but my god can the guy fight. I think you might be right on that lol

A DC vs Jones 3 would be huge add in Jones vs Brock Lesnar and that is a hell of a lot of money. But to be fair, if it was as small amount as we’re told and he’s already served his ban then so what? If USADA are sayig it’s such a small amount it has no effects why are they even testing for such low amounts and re-dragging someone’s name through the mud?? Is it in the best interest of the sport, or have they harmed it instead?

Im not usually fussed about the women’s fights but I really really hope cyborg gets beat.

Jones vs Gustafsson 1 was on UFC classics on BT Sport earlier in the week so I watched that back.

I fancy this to go the other way in this weekend's rematch.

Could do, Gus is a good fighter. Was robbed of a decision vs DC. I think Jones will take him more seriously this time though. If I was going to put money on it it’d be on Jones.

Jones is an amazing fighter no doubt about it. Like I said before, my friend who doesn't watch MMA was only impressed by 1 match-up (romero vs bobby) and 1 fighter (JBJ). You see a lot of fighters with great technique but Jones? You feel that every hit he delivers is meant to heart. No wasted movement or anything. He has high octagon IQ just like Anderson Silva which makes you feel like the fight is going just as he planned (for the most part). It's a testament to his greatness that the only man who can stop Jon Bones Jones is himself.

It's just frustrating that we don't really know how much of his carrier was helped by PEDs. Because the man has a lot of great wins and never lost to a man (the DQ doesn't count for me). He could've been the GOAT but he let it slip. But as a fighter, roided or not, he is the best to ever step a foot in the octagon.

Don’t think it's happening. Jones said that he wouldn't fight DC at HW and cant see DC making LHW ever again.

? Picogram Jones vs roided-to-the-gills Brock will shatter all PPV numbers. Get TRT Vitor in there in a tipple threat "hell in a cell" match and give the people what they want

It's hard to explain, mate. I'm gonna need you to be with me on this, Arty.

Before we get into this whole farce, let's see who are the people cought in the crossfire.

1- Abviously the fighters. This move to California effected their weight-cut and plan of training (tbf, it also include Jon)

2- A swedish family that paid a lot of money to book in Las Vegas (like many others in that situation).

3- Nevada doesn't have taxes but guess who does? That’s right. California has taxes that the fighters will have to pay.

4- You know those fellas at Las Vegas won't appreciate the loss of money this move did. They refused to Green-light Jones. This event was supposed to be the last big event there (just before the new year) and Many people gonna be headed there so they needed at least 1 big fight to end the year. The place is the biggest money maker for Boxing and MMA and you don't want to get on their bad side. And moving the event will leave a bad taste. But wait, the plot is just about to thicken.

Enter Khabib and Conor. "what they got to do with all of this" you say? The Nevada athletic commission is yet to decide what to do with them as of this moment. Dana said that if The Nevada athletic commission suspend Khabib, they will not go behind the commission's back and book him outside of Las Vigas but now he Moves a whole event because of Jones, the Same Jones who did not get the Green light from them because he was not clean. Oh boy.

So the outraged is justified for those above.

Now to the whole "Picogram" thing.

"Pico denotes one trillionth, so a picogram is one trillionth of a gram. That means 1x10-12 , or 0.000 000 000 001 grams.".

"Picograms are used for example to describe the amount of DNA inside a cell. Each cell contains all of your genome which is estimated to weight between 3x10-12 - 4x10-12 grams, or between 3 and 4 picograms. Since each cell contains 2 copies of the genome (2 chromosomes), they will each contain about 6-8 picograms of genetic material."

" USADA reported a finding of 60 pg/mL of the M3 metabolite. This was from a urine sample so it's somewhat hard to translate this concentration onto blood - the kidneys tend to accumulate substances, which is why some are detected in urine but not in blood sample."

USADA said that it's too small to be a result of him using any PEDs lately which only leaves 1 possible reason.

Pulsing.

"it shows that a subject can test positive, and then test negative, and then test positive again. This was seen in this study for up to 261 days, when the study ended and no further tests were carried out."

" Jon Jones' test in December 2018 was around 16 months after he tested positive in July 2017. That's about 485 days."

That's a significant increase from the study's 261 days maximum - although it may have carried on in his urine for another 200 days, who knows, the test ended and we never got a follow up. As seen on table 2, the study actually stopped testing another 4 subjects before they ever reached concentrations that were lower than the threshold (subjects 3, 6, 8 and 12). So 5 subjects mayhave positive tests for an unestablished length of time.

It's important to note that the idea of the substance being stored in adipose tissue (fat) and then released into the bloodstream as fat is burned is a proposed theory, not an established mechanism. This is suggested because the compound being dealt with is lipophilic (as seen on that first extract from this paper)."

Well let's first address the first bit of this thoughtful question. It showed up in 1 study, with limited conclusions - is this hard evidence? It's honestly kinda hard to call it so, and I'd be sceptical to make any judgements based on 1 study with inconclusive results."

Jones needs to have had a pulse effect that is almost twice as long as anything ever reported, with a substance that has never reported (in a study) to pulse like that. It's possible, but doesn't seem too likely, specially when you take into account his history - this is the 3rd time USADA has flagged him, and he's also shown a very sketchy T/E test. I don't know how to split the odds of him having pulsed or him having roided, but I'd say 50/50 is a bit of a stretch for the pulse side. Even at 50/50, can you really rule that he's innocent?"

" Final note - Novitsky claimed yesterday that Jones tested positive in September. I don't know if I believe that or not. Dana said repeatedly Jones had clean tests up until December, but once the pulsing theory came up they decided to let us know that he tested positive before too ? Conveniently saying "look, it has pulsed before". So I didn't take that into consideration here. Even if I had, September would've been a significant increase over the longest pulse effect recorded in the study they referred to."

Those are some bits from a long thread in the MMA sub-reddit (I can link it to you if you want)

There are just too many things not adding up. The UFC and USADA didn’t say anything about this before December and I have the feeling that they would have not said anything if Jones was cleared by NSAC. So you can obviously see why people are mad.

The amount is over the limit which means he tested positive. Now, Pulsing or not, no one knows for sure but couple fighters were suspended because of Picograms so why not Jones? You can't just around treating people diffrently.

Jon is just too good.

Sorry for the late reply to your original post mate I just think if Jon Jones has served a ban for what they’re finding which USADA themselves say has no effect on the body then why shouldn’t he fight? If anyone’s to blame for the move it’s USADA. Why are they even testing for such small amounts if it doesn’t have any effect?

Nunes wow. She absolutely smashed it.

JBJ is just too good for anyone. They’re saying DC could do it at HW but Jones will knock him out again.

Thems the rules, man. People got banned for Picograms before so it's only fair for Jon to get some backlash.

It absolutely has an effect on the body or it wouldn’t be in there. USADA said that it's too small for it to be a recent consumption, That's all.

6 hours ago, ARTY_FOX said:

Because people talking PEDs do their best to make it undetectable so USADA/VADA... Etc will look for the small traces.

Cyborg didn't respect her power and instead of backing off, she tried to brawl with her and got slept.
