Nick Posted 27 November 2016 Posted 27 November 2016 These threads are hilarious sensationalist reactions and quite frankly a load of old cock.
treer Posted 27 November 2016 Posted 27 November 2016 T his thread is stupid, we have a team of PL champions, we have added to make the squad better. For the first time ever we have a campions league agenda, in which we surpassed all expectations, isn't it logical that are PL form is not what we hope for? Would anyone seriously swap with Spurs?, not going to win the league and out of the CL?, with a wimper.

Chico1958 Posted 27 November 2016 Posted 27 November 2016 Just in case anybody thinks this is directed at them......................... It's not It's Impossible for us to win the league ( Not Champions League ) So we'll end up somewhere below this years Champions. Let's just hope the contracts say, you get a wage cut if we're relegated

adejo92 Posted 27 November 2016 Posted 27 November 2016 I think some people on here consider the prospect of relegation impossible as we were 'Last seasons Champions'. You can 'Opinion-ate this' and 'Opinion-ate that' however the facts are that we have so far been beaten by Hull, West Brom, Watford and have quite frankly been humiliated by all the 'Top' teams we have played bar Arsenal and have conceded 15 goals in only 4 games against 'Top' clubs. We have just managed to scrape 1 point AT HOME against MIDDLESBROUGH. Looking at the table and the teams below us, as suggested by someone previous, i can't see many teams that i actually consider to be worse than us at present. I also can't see where we are likely to pick up points in the near future with our next home games being Man City, Everton, West Ham, Chelsea, Man Utd and Liverpool. I do not think for one minute that CR should be sacked and i do believe that this team can avoid relegation however i can not, like some people on here, be blind to the prospect of a relegation battle just because we did well last year.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 27 November 2016 Posted 27 November 2016 We've played Tottenham,Liverpool,United,Chelsea all away from home + Arsenal at home.. Once everybody's back fit we will start to pick up points and climb the table. I think we'll finish mid table (8th-12th).

OK they had the ball a lot but hardly peppered our goal, we hit the bar and had a damn site more chances, kept going till the end and beyond and got what I see as a richly deserved point ! we were NOT lucky, did NOT rob anyone and were well worth the point we got. COYB

COYB Games are won on goals, not chances. We had to rely on 2 penalties to come from behind to get 1 point at home!!. The "Robbery" part came from the fact that our first penalty was never a penalty because HMS Morgan clearly pushed their player (just as he does time after time whe defending). Maybe your happy with a 'well deserved point'. I think it was an awful display and if i was anything to do with Middlesbrough football club i would be feeling robbed right now.

Never a penalty ??? are you actually serious ? the bloke autographed the bluddy ball ! a push doesn`t make you stick your hand up and punch the ball :-) never said I was happy to drop 2 points but we certainly did not deserve to loose the game.
adejo92 Posted 27 November 2016 Posted 27 November 2016 Yes i am serious, it was never a penalty. If you are pushed in the back whilst already going up for a challenge then you have little control of where your arms will end up. It was a clear push and its not like HMS Morgan hasnt got form for it. He is forever pushing players in the back.
