The article mentions Gregor Defrel as being known to English football scouts but then goes on to say basically that there's loads of talent on display that might suit LCFC... So basically we sent a scout. Or one of our Scouts watched the match as it was a Monday and that's his job!

He's so left footed it hurts, he's slightly ungainly in his running style (eg no burst of pace), seems fairly one dimensional (most of his shots are similar), not his fault, but the defending for his goals were nothing short of disgraceful. Hopefully it's Ilicic or someone else he was looking at (a lot of the Fiorentina team were bought/scouted by Macia during his tenure).

Would hate to see Leo go but you're probably right. He deserves first team football in the Premier League. A club like Hull or maybe the chance to get Brighton promoted. I would imagine that Ilicic would cost between 12m to 15m. Probably half of what a Gylfi Sigurdsson would cost.

sylofox Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 ITK. Been told nothing in this. We were just scouting two new ball boys as four are stepping up. Scouts at PSG and Real over the weekend for the other two. Next best are OT Celtic and Northampton town. Believe what you want.
HoustonFox Posted 13 December 2016 Posted 13 December 2016 Berardi or Acerbi from Sassuolo would be amazing but won't happen. Ilicic, Kalinic (too similar to Slim) or Bernardeschi from Fiorentina too. Not sure Illicic could play in 442 though...
