Corky Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Been an immense defender. Huge presence in the Championship and his defending last year was imposing and intelligent. Got so many blocks, tackles, touches to stop or divert shots and crosses as well as physically dealing with strikers too. This year has been tougher, no doubt about that, but for what we paid and what's he given- absolute bargain. Pearson getting Mills out and Morgan in was a fantastic piece of business.

Once we all got over the Forest connection it all worked out fine. 5 Years ago, not only would we never have imagined he'd be the Captain of the Premier League Champions, but we'd find it virtually impossible to sign a Centre Back.
