Koke Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 He's come in for a lot of stick this season but make no mistake, this man is a club legend. Over 220 appearances for the club and rarely misses a game. Who knew on 30th January 2012 we were signing a future Premier League winning captain.
foxfanazer Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 He's been truly magnificent for us. Looks finished now though imo
TheUltimateWinner Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 He's had a great legacy with us, he's been our rock in defence for two title pushes and one great escape. Wont criticise him in this thread, only praise for his contribution.
Guest Lako42 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 A truly exceptional signing. Never seen such a vast improvement in a player from when he joined.
AKCJ Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Top 5 best ever Leicester signings. Nobody would have thought that at the time.
goose2010 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 I had my doubts when we signed him, but i can saftly say any doubters were soon put in their place. Absolute unit and seems a top guy off the field to.
lifted*fox Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Yep, we're all fully aware of Morgan's current limitations but he's been truly awesome for this club in the last 5 years. Constantly putting his body on the line and very rarely putting a foot wrong. Whatever happens in the next year or so he will undoubtedly go down as a legend.

crazyleicester Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Amazing signing, amazing value and seems like a real top bloke. Its a shame our twisted fans would want to put him on a bonfire reading some of the shite that comes out on match days. Congrats Wes

filthyfox Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Hopefully we can give him a rest (new signing?) this weekend so he can celebrate! He does deserve it. Forget about the deback this season- he is great, and has achieved something no other Captain has.

TrentFox Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 As good a bit of 'value-for-money' as we've ever signed
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Top, top signing. Ever present through the years and a club legend in my book.
Thracian Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 And a massive "thankyou" to the bloke. What a signing and still well able to make a contribution for all the recent criticism of him.
Matt Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Cheers for the 5 years, cheers for the memories but it's time to go mate, harsh but every dog has it's day and he's unfortunately had his.
Slim Dog Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Fantastic signing, it's just catching up with him unfortunately.
Nalis Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Probably the guy I ate the most humble pie over. Club legend, the inevitable statue in 5/10 years time will probably be him lifting the Premier league trophy.
Ian Nacho Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Whatever your current feelings are towards Wes he's been excellent over the years for us as captain with him proving me wrong along the way. I remember when we first bought him I was thinking "why on earth do we want him for," but how wrong was I, I even thought the step up to the premier league would be too much for him but these past two seasons he's been fantastic. Even if he is coming to the end of his career he is a Leicester City legend and always will be.
Stadt Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Hopefully he's remembered for being a fantastic defender for us and a player that captained us during the best three seasons at the club ever. He doesn't look to be the same player he was but that doesn't change the fact he's been unequivocally fantastic during most of his time here.

I do hope the "going down" part is not meant tongue-in-cheek.
