I keep asking for consistency and keep saying we need to keep same 442 formation and get players used to their positions but I think Huth and Morgan keep making too many mistakes each game. Problem is I don't think we have anyone better. So do we add an extra man there to try to stop the rot? problem is there is a rot upfront aswell.... vardy has 1 in 20+ and we haven't scored in 5 games. one more in defence is one less upfront or in midfield.

Why have them in the squad if they are not good enough for the pitch? As per my previous question... How many times have you seen them play? Its all very well saying I would play these players but at the end of the day if we played that defence against Swansea and lost 4-0 the manager would definitely be gone and also taking a massive risk... this defence would us the league last year, I personally think they are more exposed as the players in general are leaving more space. We can't put all the blame on the defence we should defend as a team... starting from the front with Vardy (like we used to do with Pearson) it ain't happening this year
Jonno84 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Chuckle brother at left backs and dumb and duber the other side

Grinding out some boring 0-0 draws at least gets us points! Better park the bus than worry about winning games when we end up losing since we can't score anyway!
Mark Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 We're not going to change formation so Albrighton Amartey Huth Chilwell is the best I can come up with. Energetic full backs and pray Amartey can pass the ball out of defence.
dayday Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 We know our defence is suspect and we need to be careful making to many changes, wouldn't it be easier to go back to last season and sit deep,I'm sure we use to be very good at that.

Fox92 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 We cannot change it. Lack of recruitment has led to this. Benaloyne hasn't really featured since he joined. But now he's good enough to play? I'm not having that. Chilwell is better than Fuchs but Ranieri doesn't pick young players.

Put Amartey into the back 3; give Huth and Morgan help or a break at least. Albrighton as one wingback, maybe Chilwell other. Ndidi with two more midfielders and maybe 2 up front; Ulloa/Slimano, Vardy? 2 years ago we didn't have Kante; maybe we can try and repeat what happened with the Great Escape. We didn't have Kante, but we did have Cambiasso
