Ian Nacho Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Although I don't want them to get relegated at all it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, we've been victims of our own success, meaning average/poor players are on top player wages. In the championship we would find out the players who were in it for the money and the players who are in it for the club meaning we could get rid of the deadwood and rebuild. However we could also have a major clearout in the Premier League in the summer and rebuild from then on which I hope is the case. At the moment I just think there's certain players who are just waiting for a summer move because from what I'm watching, a lot of players' hearts aren't in it anymore. Blame the players, not Ranieri.
Soar Fox Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 There's only 1 player who would have genuine interest from clubs and that's Kasper. Vardy looking like a 1 season wonder who's on ridiculous money and over 30. Drinky has been shit since November. Mahrez could also fall into the one season wonder, no top clubs will be interested in him.
Spicer Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 If we go down then we will have a hard time getting rid of players on huge contracts as nobody will want them. Mahrez, Kasper I think will be the only ones with big contacts that will easily find clubs. Vardy, Drinkwater, Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Albrighton, Okazaki, Musa I can't see anybody really wanting.
lgfualol Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Saw some West Ham fan suggest that they would be in for Vardy. Kinda makes sense with their record of strikers.
Samilktray Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 There would be a good list of big clubs interested in Mahrez if we drop and he's available on the cheap. Delusional to think otherwise

Will have a massive impact financially on the club in the championship. Who's buying Huth, Morgan, and Simpson?

When we stay up clear them all out anyway, unless of course they want to stay

Jonesy91 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 All players are interested in is money. That has been the case for many years. If you think any of our players genuinely love the club then your wrong

Mahrez is a bigger name with a better record than sissoko and wijnaldum and they got Newcastle a big fee. Teams llike Chelsea, arsenal and even pool will look at him like the missing piece. A Chelsea team with hazard, Costa and mahrez gonna be a champions league contender and will give a lot of teams the slapping of a life time.

I said at the time I hope the players have some relegation clauses for their wages cos if not, especially with FFF (does it still exist) we could be fu*ked? Players on 3 year contracts at the age of 33 on God knows how much? We NEED to stay up this year, hence why I feel replacing Ranieri is essential, we will not stay up if this carries on. If the the owners were to leave- we would be well and truly ****ed

No they won't if we are in the championship paying 100k a week to players we will be in a shocking position we will need to offload the wages. Not a good place to barter from end off.
DJT001 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 From what ive heard today and I really try not to get drawn into speculation.. Vardy is undermining the management apparently and from what i see on the pitch it kind of makes sense. Senior players. They won it last year for themselves a bond that pearson created.. Like it or not raniarri did not build that squad.. And it shows now. Dont get me wrong im all for ranners and understand the club PR but i do wonder how much influence he really has. Inherited sqad and all

DJT001 Posted 5 February 2017 Posted 5 February 2017 Like i said purely speculation I hope im wrong but he aint putting it in on the pitch... Not chasing down ect.. Just maybe his leggs have gone which renderers him useless.. But we live in hope he will prove us wrong Go easy lads im a virgin to foxestalk and i know it can be brutal. ?
