The respect he deserves

I will sing his name before kick off, then get right behind the team but ultimately I wanted him gone purely for footballing reasons,so what does that make me.

I have not seen a single post from those who say it was the wrong decision suggesting when would have been the right time to part company. This could have actually ended much worse.

so tell me, how long should we have given him? And no silly answers like forever.

Correct decision to let him go. Owners had no choice.

Doesnt mean it it was his fault just because his head is on the chopping block. We are in 17th because of the players, because they got too big for their boots. Not Claudio.

Please can we stop with the "backstabbing myth"? Weren't you one who also called for his sacking?

No need to spread the medias drivel here. His fate was sealed based on the abysmal performances and the fact that he has lost the dressing room due to his tinkering and baffling tactics. Yes, his sacking lacked any class and was really poorly handled. Yes, the players didn't perform as they should have, should be ashamed and better deliver now. But making him a martyre is ridiculous. He's as much to blame for this season's debacle as the rest.

I do find for once, FT isn't a representation of how most Leicester fans feel. At games his name was continuing to be sung, while people called for his head on here.

so while you negatives towards Ranieri rule on here, I'm certain his name will be sung loud and clear Monday night.

Look, the Financial Times is a good paper, but I don't think it ever represented the views of Leicester fans.

I think virtually all of us, regardless of whether we feel the decision is correct, feel pretty glum.

We are all Leicester, and I would like to think we can show a little respect for each other, on or offline

Nah, fcuk that, i much prefer sitting in my sweaty little cave questioning peoples opinion.

1. Yes there was poor management but ultimately he was stabbed in the back and there was no dignity in the way he has been sacked.

2. I don't know what a march will achieve, read the post again, i said i heard a rumour.

Christ, is this forum just a community of keyboard warriors? Only showing some respect and making a valid point.

If he'd performerd this season he wouldn't have been sacked, end of story. You can go on about make believe back stabbing all you want. But his job is to manage people as well as the football, if a manager in the work place upsets staff and isn't performing then they have a right to complain. It's life.

Were you there to know there was no dignity in his he was sacked? How exactly do you think he should have been sacked.

Or maybe the management was poor, because of all the knives sticking out of his back!

Another stupid comment, so you think the players were backstabbing him as soon as we won the title,if so why? Or do you think they may have just been questioning his team selection and tactics as our capitulation gained momentum.

so you tell me, how long should he have been given?

I gave him until mid January as I waited for us to pick up but rather than that we are actually the worst team out of all 92 clubs this year,so just let that sink in before you come up with another clever comment about how long he should have stayed on for.

It has been reported they grew disgruntled with him before the season had started and even as early as last season in the league run in.

Hot tip... if you don't want discussion on your opinions and to receive others back. Don't post on a public forum designed entirely for that purpose.

Yeah, i got banned for having an opinion too.

I also got banned for posting a none offensive, none rude gif.

My last ban was for calling someone a cnut, can't really argue that one but the ban was spent whilst i was drinking beer in Sevilla, didn't affect me too much.

If you dont hear from me for a while, i am serving another ban for complaining about my bans.

But most of you are sad pathetic w@nkers.

Most of us who's main persona is in real life, poll people in places like pubs.

@Mark

Perhaps you'd like to remove him so he doesn't have to deal with sad pathetic wankers.

Question. Why then do people get banned for posting things that differ to the opinion of the FT mafia? Of which you're a made guy.

Other than turning up on his door step unannounced, fans have little opportunity to show their true respect and thanks to the man who achieved the impossible.

Once the stab wounds to his back have been stitched up and healed, it would be great for Ranieri to be brought onto the pitch, under a guard of honor, for everyone to show him just how grateful we are.

I doubt he will be at the match on Monday night but you can guarantee he will be watching it on Television.

Lets make sure he can hear his name echo throughout the stadium.

What's more insulting, the players who have betrayed him will go on and leave the club at the end of the season anyway.

Are there any plans in place? I heard a rumour of a march from clock tower to the stadium to show appreciation to Ranieri.

1, Fans have shown he massive respect and he knows that

2, On the pitch and guard of honor?? been drinking?

3, I doubt he will be watching

4, Lets not

5, Enjoying very large wages that they won't get elsewhere.

6, Bit cold for a march

i'm sad, not that he's gone, after watching every game this season it was unquestionably the right decision, i'm just sad that it came to the point that we had no alternative but to sack him.

Because you go around calling people wankers for not agreeing?

Because your pal has a hissy fit when the forum works as it should and others post opposing opinions?

Just a thought.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm wearing all black, having a minute's silence, then a minute's applause, shining my phone torch and not going to the game out of protest.

Not sure but just make sure you go with a knife and aim for his back.

Another rumour without foundation that you are basing your views on,yes let's believe everything anti player but nothing about the rumours of ridiculous tactics and team selections, never mind bizarre substitutions.

I loved the man ,he was part of the team that gave me memories I never thought possible but I am still waiting for someone to state when the owners should have made this decision if not now.It was a footballing decision pure and simple.

Just a thought.

We aint pals, we are just 2 forum criminals brought together through our joint experiences at the FT justice system.
