Leipzig play in a better league than we do, at a better standard, have just qualified for the Champions League proper and have as much money to throw at players as we do.

 

I can't believe somebody has compared them to Club Brugge to make a point.

Good question actually - Don't UEFA rule against multiple ownership in their tournaments (so if you have two clubs, you can only have one in)? So with Salzburg qualifying and having a better coefficient that Leipzig, wouldn't that throw a spanner in the works?

Salzburg never make it past the qualifying stage. So if Liepzig make the group stage through qualification in a proper league as opposed to coming into pre-qualifying for finishing top of the Austrian Pub League, this multiple ownership may not be relevant as is my post as it does not affect us.
