Liverpool have a lot of games this year and won't play a full strength team. Plus we are at home. 

 

Might have to play a slightly better team than last round but if we do, we will progress.

Looking at our league fixtures either side of this tie we have Huddersfield away before it and Liverpool at home (again!) straight after it.

 

Unless Shakey rotates for Huddersfield (which will be dangerous if they keep up their current form), I guess we'll be seeing a similar side to the one away to Sheff Utd.

think we have a chance tbh since Liverpool have just got into the champions league group stages, so i can imagine that they' probably play a good number of the U23's(still have a few of the first team though) and such in the earlier rounds of the league cup like they usually do.
