Lads, the trial is still ongoing so it's probably a reasonable idea not to speculate whether he's guilty or not. I just thought people would be interested in reading the updates.

Looking at the evidence being put into the press, it does seem somewhat a forgone conclusion. Justice will take it's course though.

Pure evil. Horrific reading some of the evidence.

I don't know how some lawyers manage to stand up and try and argue a case for jurors to let people like this go free.

It is horrific isn’t it, I have heard rumours that some lawyers even help their clients make up lies and excuses as where they were and why they couldn’t of committed the crimes etc etc - I have to stress these are only “rumours” though

It's what they are paid to do.

In this case they didn't offer any defence at all after consultation. Think defence counsel wisely advised the cvnt, after hearing the prosecution, that he'd only be making things worse for himself if he tried to excuse or deflect from what he'd done.

Had a gander at his Facebook before the trial and it turned out I had a few mutual friends. Suffice to say, I don't any longer. Absolutely sickening to think what that poor woman had to go through.

They are there to make sure their client has their legal rights adhered to and give legal advice where necessary and appropriate but they are not paid to lie for their clients

That's his lawyer's job.

His barrister's job is to defend him, and unfortunately, some will put morality aside when doing so.
