Peak Leicester. Remember this?

I knew what clip this would be even before opening the post.

Still got the original MoTD on my sky box for whenever I need a pick me up.

Even the usually irritatating Jonathan Pearce saying that a team playing football that mesmeric deserves to win the league makes my hairs stand on end.

Where did it all go wrong? Get a grip man.

We beat Sevilla and played in the quarter finals of the champions league a few months ago. Less than 18 months we lifted the premier league trophy something that Tottenham and Liverpool fans have never seen their club do.

Reality check and history lesson needed for some of our gloomy fans.

People are talking about now, not 18 months ago. A few months ago we were on the downward spiral that is continuing now, we just put in the odd good performance in the Champions League.

Also it was pretty negative football somtimes that year. For every Man city away there was a Newcastle or Southampton at home.

This is actually a disgusting comment from a Leicester fan. You sound like one of those muppets on Sky or Tottenham fans.

The football was bloody brilliant and those games you're talking about were the opposition putting men behind the ball and us having to break them down.

There was about a 4 game spell in January when we began to be a bit cautious and I was concerned but then we turned it around massively.

I’ve watched it a few times to work out what would of lead to a goal. I think it’s an extra Okazaki pass to Drinky when he’s on the edge of the box just before he gets taken out.

Yeh he should have returned it round the corner. Easy to say now though.

Drinkwater didn't get in to the opponents box once last season in that manner, did Kante really allow us to just all bomb forward and he'd sort it out if the opposition made a break? Frightening.

Yeh, pretty much. Which is why it's retarded that we didn't try to replace him with another defensive midfielder/ball winner. Ridiculous recruitment.

Drinkwater began last season trying to do both his own and Kante's job.

What went wrong? Where to start?

We sold our best player in the summer and didn't improve the squad at all.

Now we've just sold one of our better players and have a manager who has never been a permanent manager before, yet he's managing a Premier League club. We play horrid football and try our best at defending rather than attacking.

At the end of this move the noise where I was sitting went through the roof. It just typified that season, confidence running through the veins of the entire team. I’m still convinced it should have been a penalty!

One thing you could say is why we don’t to play like that more often. Sure Kante and Drinky are gone but Mahrez and Okazaki are still here. A frustration of the current team is that we play too much around Vardy. I would love to see us try a true 4-3-3 and playing more intricate football because with Vardy and Mahrez (and Gray) we’d always retain a devastating counter attack threat.

Anyway what a game that was. And what a season!!!
