We should look at some of ranners calibre to lead the team if the club has ambition because theyre better than pearson results prove it

Important to remember why Ranieri came to Leicester. His stock was at an all-time low as Faroe Island beat his Greece side. That's how we got to his 'calibre'.

they have cleaned up the stadium and have plans to increase the capacity. To improve the playing surface, they sent six Leicester groundsmen to work on it over the summer.

What about increasing our capacity first please !! ...     and haven't they got their own bloody groundsmen !!

Thin end of the wedge ...    :nigel:

But before that he had a very successful club career that was over several league cultures and he was dismissed by many as a twat. His credentials were excellent and he proved it.

He probably wasnt the owners first choice but was worthy of the job.

But with pearson the way to move the club forward is not to keep going backbto the good old pearson days.

We moved on from o'neill who was a far better manager than pearson and need to do the same now but i feel now we can attract a better manager

What 'resonates' for a generation of fans is the manager what pulled their club from the utter depths and made them respectable again.

For lads of my generation including myself, we were a bit too young to enjoy the O'Neill years. The team we watched were utter toilet from then on. We had jokers, idiots and competent managers as we grew up. At the same time, the club descended through the divisions. Then Pearson pops up - brings glory, brings organisation, speaks with authority and appears loved by the players.

Of course, there's a respect there for Ranieri too. Absolutely. You are the poster whose brought Claudio into the debate.

For some reason I thought you were like mid 30's/40's lol

Agree with your post btw.

Man's a driven, born winner. Boggles the mind why more people can't see how him being back at LCFC would be the best thing for our club.

Come off it, you could say that about pretty much every manager if you're going off quotes like that.

He wasn't a born winner when we were bottom for 6 months. The man was tactically inept at this level, that's why we struggled for so long. I can't understand how you can say Shakespeare should be replaced in one breath, and then want Pearson back in another. Their tactics are extremely similar.

People are so embarrassingly, EMBARRASSINGLY over-fond of Pearson. Wanting him to manage our football club just because you like him, it's insane. FFS, there are other managers in the world, ones with more talent than Nigel Pearson.

The mind boggles as to why people can't see how him being back at LCFC is a terrible idea. I can only put it down to the fact that there are a lot of Leicester fans of a certain age that only remember us being crap until Pearson joined us the first time, and have a warped perspective as a result.

You may be right Kitch ...   But there are also people who totally underrate him and all he did for the club ...

Bringing him back ...    ain't gonna happen ...   Unless we drop a division maybe.

The man revolutionized our club taking us from League 1 into the PL completely modernising our whole structure and giving us a winning mentality. No other manager in our history has improved s to the extent he did.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but the facts show your opinion is way off the mark
