Match Ratings : Leicester City 1-2 Chelsea - Results & Man of the Match

Hier we go again with the manager confidence. This forum, just lol. Just gone with the wind.

Fair ratings otherwise but I don't understand why Chilwell and Gray got torn apart. the first had a better second half and the latter wasn't long enough on the pitch to be really rated.

All of the starters after Wes are very harsh IMO. Chilwell seems to get a lot of the flak these days and Kasper only really made one mistake. Some people on this forum are far too cynical.

Just sayin'

Yeah I wouldn't say any deserved below a 6, Kasper also made 2 great saves right at the end of the 90'. Kelechi only made 1 mistake and I think other than the goal, that he probably played better in the team than Vardy did.

Absolutely. They all deserved at LEAST 6 - 4s for Chilly, Kasper and Nacho are taking the piss.

One mistake that ultimately cost the game.

However understandable this comment is, it is such a simplistic view.

Every player makes mistakes and if they hadn't then maybe we would have scored or not conceeded.

Goalkeepers are judged very harshly and defenders nearly as badly, yet attackers and particularly midfielders get away with so many mistakes.

If Mahrez hadn't kept hold of the ball so long and tried to beat 3 players before losing it we wouldn't have conceeded so I think his mistake ultimately cost us the game. :D

The biggest surprise is that Mahrez didn't get motm.

IMO Chilwell should have been top 6 at worst. He was better than Riyad.

@FIF Tell us how you're feeling after mahrez's 4 match MOTM streak has ended...

I'm shocked. Don't know how it could've happened. Puel needs to free Mehrez so that he can get motm every week. I blame Gray and Chilwell and after all Albrighton is just a hard working Twonk acquired for free, he should never be motm.

Mahrez was Top notch! He only lost the Ball so Chelsea would get out of their half and then we can get the ball back while they are out of position and score. Sadly his teammates failed him again.

Of course he was. 100% responsible for their goal.

Chilwell should've been right behind Albrighton in the ratings or at least in the top 4. Mahrez was a passenger and should've been subbed at half time for Gray.

Yes, but it was a fairly crucial one. I’m sure even he would agree.

I feel that Twonk is an underused word!!

I know this is not an Albrighton thread but I wanted to say that I kind of know where the twonk reference is coming from.

On the plus side, he's willing and industrious. He puts himself about. More creditably, he is an excellent crosser of the ball - on his day, few finer... (but you just know there's a but coming!) He sometimes gets a little carried away, seemingly doesn't think and fly hacks the ball somewhere. This is particularly noticeable in defensive positions when he's admirably tracked back, won back possession by the byline... and then given the ball back stupidly (and dangerously) by just blindly thumping the ball into the midfield area. He does all the hard work and then lets himself down. I think 'twonk' is a word that sums that up nicely yet retains an important element of warmth. He may be a twonk but he's our twonk!

Really do not understand the manager confidence going down by so much.

Really?

I'll explain.

It's because the average FT fan is a moron and doesn't understand simple ideas.
