Surely the best avenue to pursue is getting SK1 (and hopefully SK2) treated as an unofficial standing/singing area, enforcing sitting in other places in the ground. Would please police with rowdy fans away from the away end, and surely fans in L1 would prefer standing in a larger, louder 'home end' with players shooting towards you second half then giving it the big'n to away fans with no atmosphere?

Only problem you have is those sitting in SK1/SK2 currently who don't want to stand/sing so offer them moves to arguably better seats at the back of K block? Then when rail seating is legal thats where it would go. Seems like the club aren't massively cooperating though? We must be one of the only clubs with 25k+ stadium that doesn't have an entire stand standing, I don't believe that's because of a lack of demand. Just take Wembley, unofficial standing area was shown and everyone stood behind the goal

Why not make l1 a standing area far more standing there than the South stand (cannot call it the kop) always seems to be a South stand l1 argument

It's not the Kop, is it. Those of us that went in it will know that it was left behind at Filbert Street. Giving it the name will never make it so.

Time for a rebrand of the stand or just revert back to the Fosse Stand/End ??

This expansion is such an opportunity to sort this mess out. It's a shame we made such a mess of it from the off. It's made things difficult going forward.

The best thing they could do is turn the family stand into the kop,and put rail seating there, meaning the away fans would be surrounded along with L1, and you'd be sing the same songs, not how it is now with L1 singining 1 song and Sk1 a complete different song.

Well it's what should happen cool aid.

Should and could happen are two different things, if it doesn't happen when the ground if extended, it will never happen.

It needs to happen or the atmosphere at the KP will fizzle out. Hopefully the owners have been talking the atmosphere into account with the expansion because those clappers are embarrassing.

All depends on your point of view, some people love them, some people hate them.

Most of the time the atmosphere is directly linked to the performances on the pitch.

It was the same a Filbert Street.

This is correct.
