Struggling to see where the goals are going to be comming from.  Madison looks talented, too much expectation on the kid, but he was in a good Norwich team that failed miserably with him in the team.  He alone is not the answer, nor can we really solely on Vardy.

you do have a point, basically mark Maddison out of the game and apart from set pieces where is the attacking threat coming from

Periera and Chilwell getting forward, Silva as a deeper lying playmaker, Ghezzal + other winger if we're playing the 4-2-3-1 with Maddison at number 10. Got more versatility than before.

Our squad has more talent and depth than at any point in it's history. It isn't even close. We've fuching added three starters in Evans, Pereira, and Maddison, yeah? Maybe a 4th and 5th in Soyuncu (if true we have him and we go 3 at the back) and Ghezzal, Benkovic looks like quality depth atCB, and Ward may well be our keeper of the future. And let's not forget all the young talent we have at the u-23 level waiting for their chance.

Sure, people want an impact wing to replace Mahrez, but his real replacement is Maddison, and Maddison is going to teach us how Claude-ball is truly played.

I mean, in all seriousness, any time you add 4-5 players who are improvements over the prior season's starters, you've had a good window.

It has more talent than 3 years ago having lost Kante, Drinkwater and Mahrez in that period? No it doesn’t.

Pretty much all of our signings over that period have been inconsistent or worse. Some of these young players could turn out to be doggo. I know Chilwell is. You’re clutching at straws with some of that.

Having said that, it’s not desperate - i’m more concerned about our manager than our signings. Claude-ball is horrific!

From what I've seen in pre season, pierrara nor chilwell have the consistency in terms of quality.  Playing with one striker means this guys going down the flank and trying to hit the perfect ball, which we know neither is capable, nor is Gray, nor albrighton consistently.

Versatility in our approach play has improved, but where is the quality to turn that into goals...all this Madison at number 10 against the best midlielders and defenders in the world is too much expectation.....like many have said, without the quality of Riyad Mahrez the attacking options have not improved but decreased.

I hope I'm wrong.

One positive is that this slow shitty passing play that Puel put in place has stopped.

Think we've had a great window personally. Competition between the sticks, strengthened at right back and centre back (critically needed) and brought Madison in for the creativity. Have kept Maguire so all in all I think a great window for us

Certainly losing Kante and Mahrez hurt (Drinkwater not so much), but to argue players like Ndidi, Maguire, Dragovic were inconsistent or worse is just silly. Pereira has a track record and has looked outstanding, as has Maddison, Evans has a track record of strong play, I mean, idk what people want if you look at our recruiting and think it sucks.

Keeping Maguire, Vardy's new deal, bringing in players in weaker areas, creativity of Maddison and off loading a few is in my view a great window. Squad has improved and we have stood up to the big boy bullys and to top it the spuds have signed no-one leaving a space in the top 6. Come on you Foxes #keepthefaith

Ah, you mean like they used to do to Mahrez?
