We live in a small village near Winslow mate. Nice part of the world and great views across the Vale of Aylesbury towards the Chiltern hills.

It was a time when a 1/3 full filbo used to have pleat out and sack the board as the two main chants. Still love them times though.

I was going to post this as well, amazing that he was here for that long. He'd last about 4 months nowadays!

A friend of mine had 4 season tickets and used to end up going alone as he couldn't give them away during the Pleat era. We were lucky to gates above 10,000 sometimes.

Best thing Pleat did at the club was to bring in young Kevin Campbell on loan from Arsenal. Was a pleasure watching him carry the side during that spell.

Winslow is a tremendous club run by some brilliant people. Glad to see that everyone has rallied around to help out. Have to be some form of low life to vandalise a football pitch.
