I’d rather have today’s performance, thought we were a little unlucky, if Claude does get another transfer window really needs to rectify the RB position, I would say CB too but you would imagine Benkovic will start next season

But you don't need to break the bank to build a team. We need to return to what made us successful, tidy scouting and recruitment. Recruitment has been scattergun at best since the title win.

Of course we are going to get caught out at the back if Simpson and Chilwell are pushing forward. Same thing used to happen before Ranieri put a stop to it. It's the midfielders who need to be more positive. We only need one defensive midfielder. Full backs defend. It's basic stuff and Puel isn't interested in it. If you think we're going to start playing exciting football just because we buy some good defenders I think you're in for a suprise.

In order to make us better defensively we have at times added extra defensive minded midfielder or just sat so deep we become impossible to break down. Where's the balance? Why can't we be good at going forward and be relatively solid at the back too? We signed a new RB who is playing as a winger (I actually think hes more suited on the wing). We also signed 3 new CBs, one of which is on loan, one who doesnt play at all and Evans who I'd arguably say has been our best defender. Defensively we have more than enough cover. It's out midfield that's letting us down, so what does Puel do?! Drops Hamza, our best midfielder on form. We have the personnel at the club. They MUST be utilised better. Out of form players dropped. Change of system and dare I say it, change of manager.
