PloTok Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 I had forgotten just how many cracking goals he scored. We have our own faves but there are so many to choose from.
urban fox Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 And loyal too. If i recall when he left it was during the administration period and the club had no option but to take the money yet he insisted on a clause in his contract that give city first refusal on any future transafer? Still lives locally in Kibworth I believe.
Gordon the Great Posted 9 February 2019 Posted 9 February 2019 Really good player for City......so very similar to the Great Davie Gibson for those who can remember him...so very underrated...............another similarity?

coolhandfox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Muzzy played as a true CM rather than a number 10, 248 Premier League appearances, 34 goals, 27 assists are pretty good figure for a cm in my book. I'd expected them to be better if he'd had spent his career at number 10. Maddison has a long way to go for me before he's mention in the same breath as Izzet. Anyone think Muzzy would have missed that header at Liverpool? For me a player of Izzet calibre would walk in to this side.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Brilliant player and really nice guy too. One of our best ever. His book is well worth a read
Hollyfox Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Top player and top bloke. Fortunate to meet him in Madrid, had a great laugh?

I use to live in Fleckney and used to always see him out and about in the Village, really friendly bloke .
copunk Posted 10 February 2019 Posted 10 February 2019 Still to this day my favourite ever city player, even with interviews amongst fellow pros who he played alongside and against at the time, alot of them said how bigger teams should have taken notice and signed him, saying he would have easily slotted into one of the "top 4" a true pro and technical master
