If I could pick a player I've seen and put him in the team now it'd be Izzet.

Overhead kick v Grimsby is the best LCFC goal I've ever seen live and probably always will be.

Yes. James Maddison who has scored a goal every four games so far in his Leicester career (all in the prem might I add) needs to step up and and be more like Izzet and score one in seven (not all in the pl might I add)

I love Muzzy but the idea that he was a free scoring midfielder is a bit of a myth.  269 games and 38 goals works out at 5.3 per season.

Great player though.

Muzzy was more a scorer of great goals, than a great goalscorer. Scored some absolute masterpieces.

Loved Muzzy. Was so gutted the last match at Filbert Street when he was supposedly leaving and did a lap of honour on his own. Was delighted we managed to get a couple more seasons from him.

His goals were usually superb but he was so much more than goals. Energy, creativity and workrate second to none.

Ooh aah Mustafa.

A Leicester legend and - let's not forget - World Cup semi-finalist.

Martin O'Neill said he was the best technical player he had managed back in 1997. He's certainly one of our greatest ever signings. 'Muzzy who?', everyone asked when he joined us as a complete unknown from Chelsea reserves. But what a player he was.

His mentalist on-his-own celebration jig at Wembley when Elliott scored the winner v Tranmere has always stayed with me - perhaps more than any of his goals.

It's about scoring from midfield, and finding TODAY a player who can score on a regular basis...Maddison has just started for Leicester, and certainly

I would love him to step up,to score with even a better ratio......

1 in 7 games,is five a season...maybe 7-8, in 2 cup-runs.  Hopefully if other Midfielders and Wbacks, chip in by actually converting the created chances,

That's ca 15 goals a season extra..That's pressure for the opposition, that opens the field....instead of an odd goal in losing causes, and so by step up

I mean improving to help and up the teams fortune...

You make absolutely no sense. Sorry.

We've not had a central midfielder average more than about 3 goals a season since Cambiasso.

Weve got one on five that needs to step up apparently lol

Then We get ,more scoring the same from midfield...???

I never said he was free scoring,it's the point of a group individuals upping their goalscoring input...I

And giving the opposition something to worry about....!!

Imagine if he'd been playing over the last 10 years. He'd have walked into England's midfield instead of having to defect to Turkey. Although a world cup semi finals isn't bad.

It really pissed me off when they went on about Rooneys overhead kick a few seasons ago. Izzet’s was so much better, he had to re-adjust his position to make that work, it was just brilliant.

Yep. The cross was way behind him. The distance too, I'm sure he was edge of the area.

Could have, and probably should have, been at a top 4 club at some point in his career. Wonderful talent, technically brilliant. Imagine him and Kante in the same midfield... ❤️

I remember it well. Grimsby. Back of the stand. Couldn't see the other end. Smashed my hand on the roof when he scored celebrating.
