Well Elvis, you’ve tirelessly posted against Puel for several months now blaming him for everything that is wrong at Leicester.

No room for excuses if there is no improvement in the longer term now he’s gone eh?

No there’s not! If the next manager comes in and again fails then he will go as well. I won’t be crying if we have to sack another manager cause it “makes us look stupid” I just hope they get the next appointment right, cause the last 2 should never have been appointed  in the first place.

Who would you have appointed instead?

Am I the Dof? This question bores the life out of me! I don’t know who was contacted and who was available but after Puels stint at Southampton I wouldn’t have touched him with a barge pole.

Hang on, you’ve just said that Shakespeare and Puel shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place, but asking you who we should have gone for instead bores the life out of you!

I’m afraid that just makes you a moaning, negative tosser who criticises when we’re struggling, but has absolutely no thoughts on how we make things better.

It’s a ****ing boring question! I cant remember who was available back then! I’d go for Rafa,Lampard or take a punt on Chris Wilder now! Seems as though you are gutted Puels gone and think the sun shines out of his Cul,you can follow him to his next club you bellend!

You don’t know much about football do you mate? Just love a moan.

I’ve said elsewhere I completely respect the decision to sack Puel. I’ve always had concerns over this unicorn proposition that anyone other than Puel would have us in a Europa League spot.

Yeah because your superior knowledge to mine is why I was right about Puel from the start and you were wrong and you can’t handle it! I don’t care about getting into Europe I’ve said it a million times,I just want some consistency in results and team selections and players who play well to keep their position in the team and a manager who creates a positive atmosphere throughout the club! I’m bored with you now, pull your pants up cause you’re a bit of a guff mullet! Enjoy your last reply to me,make it a bloody good one son,I know you’re the type who loves to have the last word, even though they’ve been proved wrong.

The classic internet troll working his inner angst out on a football forum. Whinging and moaning at every turn but with no interest in constructive debate on how things might improve.

I wonder what/who your next target will be?

Hope you enjoyed getting all your childish insults out.

Yes of course, my argument has been with those who say that anyone could do a better job and have blamed every one of the Clubs deficiencies on Puel.

It used to be Rudkin, and probably will be again. In my early days on the forum it used to be Richie Wellens ?

But this is nonsense. He only said Puel and Shakespeare weren’t the right appointments, which has surely proven to be correct. It’s not up to him to say who should’ve been appointed instead, that’s the board’s choice. No one has a crystal ball, some appointments turn out to be better than others but they’ll be hoping for someone better.

We’ll be flooded with applicants, it’s a very well paid job with a good, young squad and rich owners.

to be fair, we’ve been fairly consistent recently...

Ok. Let’s all just moan without any constructive conversation about how we could do things better.

I’ll ask you the  same question, who would have been the correct appointment when Shakespeare and Puel were appointed?

Why is that such a tiresome question to ponder?

Nah, you just moaned ad nauseam without ever bringing anything constructive to the discussion other than "Grrr, Puel out" and this post personifies the level of your argumentation. A lot of Puel outers posts were balanced but you certainly don't belong to them.

If it can make you feel a bit better, you weren't the only one.

Ran out of reps, this is absolutely spot on.

Yeah I don’t know how many times myself and everyone else explained why we wanted Puel out,in the end it became evident even to his ardent followers,so there was no need to explain anymore,it had been explained to death.i was mocked for saying at the start of the season we would be closer to the relegation battle than 7th and looking at the results this year if he’d stayed in charge I was right!

This is now a classic case of the staunch Puel followers refusing to admit they were wrong and trying to shame ,we the people who were right all along into being “negative moaners” now you can go in the basket with nickfosse,I’m done with you.

Iirc you said in preseason we’d be in the relegation zone by November, or was it Christmas?

You may well be right that the decision to sack Puel at this stage is correct, but you haven’t been correct all along.

You seemed to have a very negative agenda which you’ve  repeated ad nauseum all season long.

Thanks.

The guy's gone and while being one of his supporters, I still have no problem with his sacking, as ultimately you have to translate your vision into results and yesterday's thumping was the straw that broke the camel's back. You'd think they'd lay off and stop beating a dead horse. But no, now it's time to re-write history and paint him in the worst possible light to justify a moaning which was first and foremost based on a strong personal dislike.

Yes, I agree. I’ve no complaints about his dismissal despite being a supporter of his attempts to solve our recurring problems.

Really hoping we get the next appointment right to build on the things he got right, but correct the areas he struggled in.

Hmm we all expecting chilwell to start? Most here are expecting him to get loaned out to championship, even when he start to play regularly last season.

If Previous manager still here, he's likely will prefer safer option in 26 years old or more and break the bank like the slimani and failed bid for siggurdson instead of Madisson and we won't have much left so Benkovic, Ricardo, etc won't be here.

But who is the “right appointment”?

I didn’t think you could hear me anymore? ?

Taking your question seriously, and despite our altercations I’m enjoying our conversation and your responses this evening, I’d go for Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh. Now I know that lots of people get really wound up by that but humour me for a minute and let me explain.

Puel has made a valiant attempt at putting a young team together that can break down teams with deep block defensive systems. However, it doesn’t matter how well we’ve played, how many more “attempts” we have, we’re as flakey as **** and end up losing. The intention to improve us was right imo, but there’s something wrong. We’re too soft and that has happened countless times since the new year at Wolves, Southampton and last night.

So who better to remove our flakey, soft centre than Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh who excelled in creating that spirit with a hard edge that ultimately led to us winning the title. I know we needed Ranieri’s tactical mind to finish the job, but we have the reverse situation now.

I accept that Puel had his weaknesses, and his areas of weakness are NP and CS strength and vice versa imo.

Add to that, to continue the “project” if you like, Steve Walsh has a great eye for a young player with huge potential.

I rather suspect it will be Rodgers, in which case I’ll become the new Elvismcfly ?

suggesting Pearson now means i need to put my tin hat on?

I’d take that till the end of the season I wouldn’t want it full time at all! Think waiting till the summer gives us more options, not sure about Rogers myself,as I said I’d prefer an up and coming English man got a chance a Wilder or a Lampard or Gerrard. I only got arsey cause you called me a negative tosser, you drew first blood not me, not one to hold grudges though if you come at me civil you will get the same in return.
