His stats last season were insane. Looks like it. To be honest I don't know the full story but the Lyon fans I've seen around on reddit are not happy with him.

I watched Lyon a fair bit last season (because of Dembele) and tbh I didn’t really see it with Cornet, flattered to deceive a lot and looked like a just as clumsy clone of Traore (ex-Chelsea). Still young though and Lyon rotate their forward players in particular far too much so may still develop into a good player. Don’t think he’s anywhere near ready to cope with the physicality of the premier league yet though.
