Wolfox Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 Love Fuchs and from what I saw on the LCFC highlights video, he looked great However, he’s not first choice…. I think Chilwell and his previous years worth of performances deserves that… We are just very fortunate to have such a solid replacement
mikey_b Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 thought Fuchs was brilliant on Sunday. i think the main difference between him and Chilwell is he knows exactly what he wants to do when he is bombing forwards and has the ability to do it whether its hitting the line and crossing, an early ball or a fast cut back to somebody like Maddison arriving late in the box, he see's what is needed and usually delivers. Doesn't seem to hesitate and end up turning backwards. Chilwell has the ability i think he just needs to be more confident in his ability on the ball.
majaco Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 Chilwell is an excellent player. He still has progress to make if he is to reach the standard of peak Fuchs. I was not disappointed to see Fuchs in Sunday's team.
lee7 Posted 20 August 2019 Posted 20 August 2019 If only Chilwell could cross the ball half as decent as Fuchs does. When you see Fuchs with the ball on the wing about to whip one in you can guarantee 8 times out of 10 it'll be bang on the money or in a dangerous area.

Chelsea’s intensity was pretty impressive in the opening stages of the game to be fair to them. Exactly, no one impressed first half really, the back four actually did a good job. And if it wasn't for Fuchs goal saving challenege on Kante, we would have been 2-0 down at HT and left with 0 points.
