He's a little ankle-biter like Dickov was, only with more pace. Cinema Pongo would set us back a lot of money, and he wouldn't want to play for us.

I knew this would happen. I said this when he signed. YOU NEED TO GIVE HUME TIME! Do you go and see Hume? I would rather have Hume than Sinama Pongol anyway. The goals will come. I bet you were saying that de Vries was rubbish last season.

Hes a Striker actually Whys Sinama Pongolle a negative? Quality youngster with a great spring (He regularly outjumped John Terry last season in the Liverpool vs Chelsea match) lots of pace etc the lad was only putting his view across.

I ask cos he'll never be a specialist striker but he WILL contribute his share of goals from attacking midfield. He is clearly one of the fastest, most skillful and most awkward players to mark in the City squad and if Levein plays him correctly (in the hole) he will be a real asset. So good that with all our front men available I'd go for a strongly attacking line-up at Preston and nullify their strike force by not letting them get the ball. No way would I leave anyone from Gold-Smith, Hammond, MDV and Hume out of the side. Hammond will score this week if he gets the chance. Even if Preston do score they will be so concerned about their home record that they will want to defend that lead with everything they've got. We should play on those nerves and turn em into a nightmare.
