He didn't mess us around like Mahrez did. And Caglar is a great replacement. And I hate that song that starts F *** off Maguire. We have a great squad and are going places. No need to look petty and cheap.

Wouldn't be surprised to Maddison, Chilwell, Ndidi and Tielemans all move in the next couple of years. Sadly the draw of the money and the 'big club' status is what drives on the majority of modern footballers. The Maguire deal could make them all give us a year or two more than they would have done though And Rodgers will probably end up at Utd once his stock has risen again

MonkeyTennis? Posted 28 October 2019 Posted 28 October 2019 I don’t think there is much bitterness towards him at all really, its just that the song is catchy and mischievous - and Soyuncu is an absolute beast.

This time next year, maybe even this season, they might be above us again. He's gone, we've moved on, not suffered from his loss and he's playing for the club he follows. If he regrets it or not, entirely up to him. We do struggle with players wanting to leave, it seems. Tbf Corky if we look the cold light of day, there's been nothing there for players to stay except 16/17. Was well documented the club had to work hard for Kante to sign in the first place. Vardy's decision vindicated as since that season Arsenal haven't qualified for the CL. It's always been about the promise until this season - if we achieve European qualification this season, then we have an attraction or more accurately, something over other clubs. Similarly if we can keep up this trend of signing players and developing players, we were held in a higher regard by players and agents for getting players in.
foxy boxing Posted 28 October 2019 Posted 28 October 2019 The bigger clubs are always going to attract players even if they have been relatively crap for years like Manure because of a lot of different factors not just wages but. we have yet to establish ourselves as a top four/six club. don't feel sorry for him he knew that before he joined Manure they were rubbish but felt that potentially they could be a regular top four side but at the moment they are being managed wrong both in the changing room and the boardroom unlike our team.
