koop. Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 People talk about football managers and players and tribute their clubs great successes to one or the other, or both. But it's not as usual to hold an owner in such high regard, i'm unsure if i've ever known it before, at least not amongst the other clubs people i know support. But our owners, as everyone associated with this great club know, are up there as some of the best in world football. Their vision, their philosophy, their dedication, their passion, their drive, humility and so on. We are the envy of many many clubs, not just because of our current success on the pitch and where we've come from, but when you look at the stability of our club behind the scenes and that means sustained success for years to come Never a day goes by without me thinking of what this family have done and continue to do for Leicester City. What a club, what a history, what a future
urban.spaceman Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 That video gets me every time. Beautiful work from the media team.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 I’m pretty certain we have the best owners anywhere, they have completely transformed us as a club, taking us to places we once only dreamed of, they have been amazing. 🦊
TrentFox Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 Haven’t seen that montage before. Beautiful in its simplicity. Genuinely emotive.

They played it in the stadium for the first home game after the tragedy, with Top and Apichet watching. It's a very tough watch:
urban.spaceman Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 ^ should not have watched that back. Proper emotional now!

Whether he likes it or not, Top is going to be wed to this club indefinitely! Good.
SlaneyLCFC Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 Tough going watching that video being played in the stadium. Hits me every time.
Innovindil Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 We definitely won the owner lottery. Not a club in the world could ask for better. I'm also glad that Top decided to carry on instead of selling up, can't possibly have been easy for him. He's doing a great job and I'm sure Vichai would be proud, just like us fans are.
norwichfox Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 my eyes are sweating.. may you continue to RIP Vichai.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 10 January 2020 Posted 10 January 2020 I can't speak for everyone but when they came in initially, as i recall, there were so many clubs who had foreign owners coming in who just didn't get the club's they'd purchased, tan was seemingly destroying Cardiff and there were countless other examples, also after mandaric and what came before him you just thought of course we'll get terrible owners. I'm not sure I've ever been more wrong about anything in my life, the league win was great but it's the sustainable model that's so brilliant and just every aspect of how the club is run makes you immensely proud to be a Leicester city fan.

It currently hangs on my sons wardrobe and when he’s old enough he will learn all about what this man did for us. thanks for posting this. I’m not crying, you’re crying

Gets me every time. How Top dealt with everything - so publicly too - was quite extraordinary.
