His defending is subpar at this point because of his lack of pace and lapses in judgment.  Against decent premier league opposition he's a liability on both ends of the pitch.

 

I view Albrighton like Fuchs at this point.  A warrior, a forever Fox, but someone who you don't want to have to rely on at this stage of their career because they simply aren't good enough against strong opponents.  They're great to have around as mentors and role players but the fact that Albrighton gets off a nice cross a few times a year doesn't change the fact that he's not a starting-caliber player on a club with European aspirations.

Its fantastic to be in the competition, chance of a trophy, chance of a 2nd way to get CL qualification, chance to create more history for our club and extra prize money(already made 5-6 mill).

Winning the Europa league fills our cabinet, gets us a European trophy that even clubs as big as Arsenal have not got, raises us as a bigger club, bags us 15 million + CL money and attracts our squad to stay and attracts higher calibre of player to join us.

 

Europa league is so underrated by fans, like it’s the johnston paint trophy or something..

It's all very jolly at the moment and has been useful for keeping up fitness and honing tactical formations etc. However, we might develop a different view if the injuries start to pile up again.
