Many congratulations to Lionel Messi after scoring his 644th goal for Barcelona overhauling the great Pele's record for the most goals scored for one Club.

 

What a shame Vardy didn't join us as a teenager!!

It is a ridiculous achievement really, along with Ronaldo whose scoring records may never be beaten.

What's remarkable is the quality of those goals too. They all count but it's not like the bulk of them have been tap ins, I think everybody has become accustomed to how good he is so it doesn't strike you as being so ridiculous.

Absolutely incredible. Having him and Ronaldo both playing at the same time is just ridiculous.

 

Ronaldo is only 30 goals shy of the record for all time goal scorer (incl international goals) ffs, and Messi (2 years younger) only another 30 goals behind that. Bonkers.

Definitely impressive  and most definitely a fantastic player.

 

I don't  care so much about how many goals he scored though but rather how much of a talent the guy is. Unreal skill.
