The guy tackled no longer had control of the ball as he'd pushed it too far in front of himself.

As an aside I've noticed Barnes does that quite a lot but I guess when you're running at full pelt it's harder to keep it close to your feet.

Reminiscent of Evans on Kane last season.

I guess these ones are a little dependent on whether you are a supporter of the team who is tackled or doing the tackling. If you are sitting on the front row there and that is your player being tackled you are off your seat and screaming for a booking. If it's the other way round you are off your seat screaming 'get in!' either way it's great entertainment.

I know it's a joke and we're all supposed to say it's OK.

But we all know that's a red card every day of the week in a top flight game.

Fair play though, kid got some serious momentum.

I'm inclined to agree there'd at least be a booking from this based on the way the red and white pixels travelling from the left of the screen seem to clatter through the yellow pixels in the middle.  I wouldn't want to use this footage for a VAR decision though lol

The speed of the red and white blur alone means a red pixel is going to be waved above the black pixel in the next frame.

Clearly nowt wrong in terms of getting the ball cleanly. All depends on whether you think the follow through is as part of the tackle. The 'trailing leg that's tucked away' still makes heavy contact with the knee of Norwich player

I have to be honest I've got no idea what that sentence means... am I being dense here?

I mean, your words.

I've literally been staring at the sentence for minutes and it's only just clicked. lol

In my feeble defence I'm only just getting to the end of my 'morning' coffee.

I'm not gonna lie man, I was surprised at you. I didn't think it was all that clever or cryptic, I just continued on with your own joke lol

Yeah I can see that now, my brain just wasn't making the connection.  I'm getting old leave me alone.
