Why is that?

Because you don't want to buy new for a while, and it'll likely be a lot cheaper to buy second hand from people you trust than a refurb model.

Have anyone bought a refurbished TV before?  My three years old decided my TV would make a good racetrack and have damaged it.   Was thinking I would be better off buying a refurbished TV for few years until my boys get more older.

Not refurbished, but I have bought second hand in the past.

Once when I was moving in to a house as a single parent from scratch, and then again when my young daughter smashed the screen on that one accidentally while playing with the dog!

Both were a fraction of the price in mint condition and only a few years old, the people were only selling as they were upgrading, absolute bargains.

The only thing I'd say about buying used is to still try and buy as recent a model as you can as the software on modern tellys isn't supported indefinitely.

Even so, you can always buy a Fire stick if you find its functionality falling by the wayside

One option is Amazon warehouse, there's some decent deals there and also eBay from specialist refurb sellers. Also check shops returns eg John Lewis top floor they always loads of stuff and don't forget to haggle.

I'm not sure I'll buy anything brand new again. I've bought TVs laptops air fryers a sofa a coffee maker.

Got my 65’ LG C3 about 4 months ago now, cost 1150 with different voucher codes direct from LG. Still get blown away by the picture from time to time. Blistering stuff.

Quality aren't they?

I was a proper Samsung Fanboy but moving to was brilliant. Such a good TV.
