Anyone know where you can find highlights of this game. Can't find it on YouTube or Google. Sure I saw highlights at the time. Seems crazy. Even the 1934 semi final v Portsmouth is there but not this one.

I was too young to go to this match but was well aware of what was going on. I think that I can remember watching Grandstand and hearing a half-time report by David Coleman in a trilby and sheepskin live from the Grand National at Aintree.

I remember my Dad trying to get updates as we went out somewhere and finally got to see the result via a notice in Swatlands shop window in Oadby. None of this instant social media stuff in those days!

I've got a vivid memory of Allan Clarke scoring the winning goal on TV. Might have been a news report, but surely it was on MOTD?

It’s a strange one. I was at the game, but don’t remember it very well except for going berserk at the end. My main memory is all coaches being in the same coach park. We were sandwiched between two Albion coaches which caused some none too nice banter.

I’ve tried for years to see a TV recording, but never been able to find one. I’m hoping the BBC will unearth a copy, but I doubt it. The game was really low profile at the time - I don’t know why.

It was happening even then. In 50 years time all footage from 2015/16 will have been 'lost' and no one will believe it ever happened (except for a few old boys that could still name the team but couldn't remember what they had for tea).

Someone get every game of that on at least 3 different hard drives. That was history.

I remember Michael Swatland's shop. Apparently he recently passed away.

Or crowds of blokes stood outside laskeys near the clock tower at 5 watching the full times on all the tv screens in the shop window. lol

oh how I feel the younger generation have missed out on certain things. Like patches on your elbow when your jumper wore through. And the knees of jeans and trousers. lol

I was there and stood on a stool between my Dad and brother. The crowd was so packed together that my feet didn’t touch the ground on the way out as I was sandwiched between everyone , bloody dangerous really.

I was there. I had just started work & had to go in that Saturday morning. I remember being picked up about 12.00 & consequently we only just got in as they kicked off.

I don't know why but we were in the Kop end which was mainly WBA fans & were stuck right in the corner

I was prosecuted for under age drinking in “The Gate” prior to the match, fined ten shillings (ask your grandad)

Sniffers goal was at our end, other than that I can only remember the scoreboard displaying the Grand National

winner ( Highland Wedding).Oh and pinching toilet rolls from the football special.
