If you haven’t heard the Ben brereton story look it up, it’s amazing. 
 

Basically a fm scout saw an interview where he mentioned that he actually had relatives from chile. The scout did his research found out he was eligible and listed him as so on the game. 
 

Random Chile  fans found this out on the game and started a campaign to get him called up. The manager took notice and he got called up and was a sensation for them. 
 

So incredibly random but a beautiful story of nerds impacting the game

I didn't.  I was uncertain about the spelling and did not wish to be disrespectful.   Respecting Wasilewski is something I am inclined against for.aome reason.
