I have learnt to not rate the window this early, we dont know yet if the players will work out.

 

If you look at it from a net spend point of view its all too easy to give it a thumbs up, but I dont think thats how windows should be rated.

 

I am glad we brought in a winger, new striker, and Soumare I have liked the way he has played so far, but it really needs time to judge if its a good window.

If I was to rate our window I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.....few smears which I've tried to get rid of and cobwebs that just keep appearing but overall its got decent see through ability and opens with minimal force....pretty bog standard for a new build but does the job.

We kept Youri Tielemens, that makes it straight away a 8/10 window because hes so vital to us. As well as keeping all the rest of the key players and adding 5 additions. If lookman cant play on the right then we are a bit silly to not go for that side rather than the left side but overall we couldnt realistically of asked for much more tbh.

The biggest issue is the injury to Fofana. Thats really the one negative about the whole situation that feels like were lighter but transfer wise we have done everything to have a much larger squad depth so overall Id rate it a 9/10.
