It was and it wasn’t an ultras thing. It was like a debrief of their display and support. Their next home game is Lech Poznań who are probably the next biggest ultras group in the country. That’s followed by Napoli away who Legia have had some real run ins with - Legia’s head ultra issued a list of things to qualify for the trip to Naples back in 2015. No women, no kids, no tourists, no alcohol.

Lead ultra??

It's all abit my dads bigger than your dad isnt this?

AND I'm sure there wont be any Non whites allowed either. Glad I'm not born in one of those Easter European countries.

It's bad enough in L1 hearing the Boos when our players take the knee, imagine me and @StanSPbeing Legia fans...

Makes you wonder how us non whites would be greeted as "home" supporters at these countries.

Probably how it was here about 40 years ago.

Atleast we have progressed when you compare it to other countries.

Maybe one day there wont be any need for gestures like takectge knee and keep it out but probably when WE are grandad, as it ain't being eradicated in our generation.

Put in our own little section, own separate entrance, can't try and join in with anything, lambasted by home fans and away fans lol

I long for the day we don't need a gesture but it does seem so long away right now.

Some interesting cross over for when they play Napoli as a great deal of Juve fans are likely to travel with Legia. Similarly they can expect Lech Poznan fans to be there when they play Spartak.

Not that far off what city are trying to do. Except our head ultra will demand simply 'no alcohol, no men'

They were ferociously loud and consistent. Each of them turned up committed to deliver maximum support to their team.

That mindset - in isolatation from the uglier features - is something I'd like more of at our club.

But if I were to give one European club I admire for their support it would be FC Copenhagen - they had that dedication and organisation but without the darker underside Legia have.

The problem at LCFC is that the club can’t separate the 2.

Lads , you're exaggerating a bit ;)  Right-wing extermist ..it's a part per thousand of our audience. It's all about football ;)

Some was wondering what we're singing during the game, f.e this:

"I've got, just like you do , My own city, in which There's my most beautiful world Most beautiful days . I've left my colourful dreams there .

One day I'll stop time And I fly like a bird With all strength of my wings To the place of my dreams And Warsawian colourful days .

If you'd like to see Dawn over Vistula Set off with me today And you will see How beautifully we'll be greeted By a Warsawian day"

And if you were wondering what we were singing it was 'chodź leicester, chodź leicester '....sorry if it was a bit intimidating we're a good bunch really.

This is a great read that goes into more detail about Legia Warsaw's Ultra's, 'Teddy Boys 95'.

They are clearly passionate about their team, more than most, but it also seems to be a way of channelling other emotions & frustrations from not just their club, but Polands history.

Legia Ultras have previously been voted the most dangerous in the world, and given the policing presence, which was increasingly evidently there to protect us, not prosecute us, it's a real sense that these guys mean business.

I know politics have been brought into this discussion, away from football, but it seems that the Ultra's themselves are as much political as they are football.

I think there is a lot more to it than a group of blokes coming to support their team. This is almost like a religion to them, a brother hood and allegiance.

I couldn't be against football violence, or racism, enough, but studying these Ultra's in a little more detail is really interesting.

....totally backs up @Finnegan post, that it is a lot more to do with a mindset than just a crowd of ardent football supporters!!!
