Best pint of Guinness in Leicester

Ey-up me ducks.

Coming back to Leicester this weekend for the match and really fancy having a few pints of Guinness.

Can anyone recommend a pub that usually does a nice pint of the black stuff?

I remember last time I was down I went to the Bakers Arms in Blaby, which is a nice pub but the Guinness was an absolute disgrace.

Duffys for me but try the Blue Boar if you like dark stout and Porter type beers. He will have at least two good ones on.

Good pub but stinks of rugby fans in there though

Before the Burnley game I had what I think is the worst pint of Guinness I've ever encountered in the Queen of Bradgate so I'd advise swerving that. Frothy head shit, those weird little bubbles you get when the glass isn't properly clean and cost the best part of fiver if not more.

Get any other stout from a decent bar and a decent brewery. West End brewery  should have a decent one on. 

 

Failing that, Jet black heart by Brewdog is actually ****ing brilliant and I don't usually encourage their beers.
