Will never forget that tragic evening,  my then 15 year old son and I witnessed the crash and called the emergency services along with several others. He pointed up to the sky and said look that helicopter doesn’t look right, it’s spinning around and a few seconds later it crashed right in front of us as we walked along the main road after getting something to eat after the game. As soon as it caught fire, I knew there was nothing anyone could do for those on board and drove home feeling completely numb. Am not in the country today but will pay a visit to the memorial garden on Saturday to pay my respects. RIP all.

Forgot Burnley had made their own tribute to mark  their game with us...Really great

I had watched our tribute that was first shown before kick off at the Burnley game earlier this morning.

A wonderful sad, poignant, moving tribute to a great man ..I still smile though every time I watch it when Vichai and Top are walking along shaking hands and hugging all the players at Belvoir Drive the morning after the title win was confirmed .

Shinji in the background following Top shaking hands with all the players. Shows what fantastic spirit and connection there was with that squad and our owners ...Long May it continue.

PS not forgetting the other 4 victims of the tragedy .

There was a video/radio clip of Geoff Peters I think? @UpTheLeagueFox voicing over a piece of classical music - possibly Bocelli if I remember rightly that was one of the most poignant and heartfelt messages I've ever heard. I remember listening to it when it was confirmed that Vichai and the other passengers had all lost their lives and it ripped through me. Geoff captured the thoughts and words of us all in that, I've been trying to find it as it's the one overriding memory of the days after the tragic accident.

I hadn't seen this before, very thoughtful and emotive. Although watching in a public environment was a mistake :(

I can't begin to comprehend how traumatic this must have been for you both.

Yep, how the acted was class. Got nothing against Dyche or Burnely. They used to annoy me when we were both in the Championship but not now.
