Perez and Red Bull ain't it, no other reason this track is on the calendar.

 

You know its bad when even the commentary team, who can waffle about anything, are struggling for highlights

I see the Red Bull backed driver Pierre Gasly is trying to negotiate the rules on penalty points resulting in a race ban now that he's one incident away from receiving one

Well for one more race then he is off to Alpine who will probably feel hard done by if he is punished for incidents when not in their team .

I don't understand that at all tbh, I heard Safnauer (not gonna bother attemping to spell it correctly) earlier saying the same thing. If it bothers them that much maybe they should have looked elsewhere for a driver

Presume it would just be for one race so no big deal really I guess ?

Exactly its a driver ban, they can still put another driver in his car. I don't know when his points start to drop so that he's not one incident away

It’s not soon. He’s accrued a lot recently. Makes a lot of sense for him to speed in the pit lane a couple of times this weekend and then sit out Abu Dhabi before heading to Alpine with a clean slate.

Yeah these sprint races are guff. 
 

It’s great for Magnussen and Haas but I’d be surprised if he’s top 8 on the actual grid by the time the sprint is done.
