Quite impressive the assertiveness from Russell with decisions. Night and day to the Ferrari drivers who have a meltdown when they have a decision to make.

I just don't understand how a car attempting to overtake down the inside, then going all the way to the outside on the exit and not leaving a car width isn't forcing another driver off the track

 

Also don't understand why he's in the wrong this year but not last year

If you compare the trajectories of the two cars on the inside, one forced Hamilton off the road before the corner, whereas the other turned to the left past the corner to leave him enough room to make it himself.

 

Today, Hamilton was in the wrong, but last year he was clearly forced off the circuit.  I agree with what Sainz said on his team radio.  However, he was far more generous in leaving space to continue on circuit, something which continues to evade the mind of a certain RB "team player".
