Hi lads, i bought tickets for myself and my 9 yr old son for his first away game... wasn't many left at the time so got 4th row in block 114 which i was happy with.

 

Tickets have just arrived and it says "Safe standing section"  i wasn't even aware they had this.... any advice on this? Think my lad will be able to see ok etc??  In fairness he actually stands on his seat at home games, back row of SK1

I reckon he will love it.

The safe standing area at Spurs is only a bar in-front its not locked away seats like at Celtic and QPR.

He'll be fine,  will be able to stand on his chair there,  as said above,  it's just a bar.  My 8 Yr old son was fine last year

You could go via Peterborough I think that maybe an option as you only need to change at Peterborough and then takes you straight to kings cross.

Not possible after the game - last train which makes it back to Leicester from P'boro is 2054.

The only available route from Leicester is the traditional route down to St Pancras BUT there is a bus replacement from Luton; this extends the journey by a hour. The last train by this route is 2146. 

 

So your next route is via Nuneaton - easy enough on the way there but on the way back, the last train what makes this route work is 2034 - which you probably won't make without leaving the game early. 

 

So then your next option is going via Rugby Station and using a taxi or similar to get there/back to Leicester. The last train which gets to Rugby is 2131.

Then it’s compounded by AvantiWestCoast not confirming their timetable until the week before and the timetables cutting the trains which used to run past 10
