Any news on the trains going back to Tamworth?

the trains are running out of ST Pancras. East Midlands Trains are running direct on Saturday. But I think it is normal service if you are heading to Tamworth.

My friend has just informed me that he has 1 x adult spare. Can meet at ground tomorrow, I'll be with him so can arrange to meet me.

I'll take it if it's still free. Will send you a DM.

Thought I'd try on this thread.

I'm off to the NFL game at the Tottenham Stadium Sunday and my lad lives in London, if you're going to the ground, whats the best/quickest way to get a train either overground or Tube from central London and back??  Got to get back to Hanwell before rushing home for the France vs South Africa RWC Quarter.

Any local knowledge gratefully accepted.

In short, it’s a bloody pain in the arse (well by London standards anyway). As the post above says, Seven Sisters is the closest underground which you can get direct from Euston/St Pancras/King’s Cross. However that is a good 25 mins walk from there to the ground.

Whereas my recommendation would be get the Overground from White Hart Lane which as the name suggests is right by the stadium, which can get you to Liverpool Street. From Liverpool Street you should be able to get the Elizabeth Line direct to Hanwell

Im sure this goes without saying but it will be bloody busy and overcrowded, so best of luck and hope you make it back in time!
