Top knows, he must do, there has to be another reason why it hasn't happened.

No one wants too boo or hiss, chant etc, it will get to the players, if you dont go, anyone with any sense will see what needs doing, hell even BR may decide to walk, what an awful mess we find ourselves in, where only one outcome will improve things.

Would the club stoop as low as confiscating banners if fans started taking them en masses? Obviously insulting or offensive stuff is too tempting for them not to take off fans and use the letter of the law but I'd not be surprised if the club started trying to prevent big banners being taken in that simply said RODGERS OUT or something specific to our owners.

They put out a warning about them the game after Ranieri went from memory so they might perhaps take the same approach. All be it this is a different situation now.

Can we get Birch to do a poll before each game- whether we want Rodgers to stay

I see that Leicester City have a net spend of £35m in the last 5 years. And they are 18th in the Premier League 5 year net spend.

The net spend is not the problem.  It is the obscene wages we have thrown about to a lot of shite that has us FFP buggered.

We may be 18th on net spend but we are near the top of the wage league and certainly our wage to turn over ratio.

Yes I get that. But other teams seem to spend millions and probably have got similar income?

We are an outlier in that respect compared to the  greedy six. Our ratio of wages to general revenue is too high without European football. Compounded by not being able to shift those players on high wages who are on the periphery of the team running down their contracts.

Assuming he's at the game on Saturday then anything but a comfortable win will be met with massive boos and I suspect that'll have to be that.

If we don't win on Saturday and Rodgers stays in the job then I think that'll just be that.

Aston Villa have spent £260m net in the last 5 years. Surely their income hasn't been as much as ours??

Or are these clubs better at their accounting?

I don’t know off the top of my head or what their wage/revenue ratio is. I think the risk appetite of our owners is probably lower compared to some other clubs given their likely current financial situation post pandemic. Our issues on the pitch doesn’t help confidence either. It is so difficult to compete on equal terms with the super league six without overstretching yourselves on fees and/or wages. Villa Everton newcastle and now forest have all thrown the dice.
