Question for L1 & the Kop

Recommended Posts

I noticed that we were given more freedom to stand up longer than usual, particularly at times when we were producing attack after attack in the second half. I can only speak from a Kop perspective though.

I didn't notice, but I did notice that it was the best atmosphere for a year or so, that was down to the fact the game was electrifying and the fans responded. I think it would have been almost impossible for the stewards to do anything on saturday as people were up and down constantly. But if they can do that more often and it helps to the atmosphere then that would be great.

dint notice a difference, i think its more a question for L1 though

Well seeing as you've not had any problems with the stewards, that should be a good thing!

stewards and arange coat brigade have definately become more relaxed in L1 for the last 2 games. As a result of this there has been a lot better atmosphere and less aggrevation. Stewards even seemed to be laughing at some of the banter on saturday instead of flying in to wrestle people out of the ground. Have got to give Time Davies and club officials credit for this. was at the open meeting a couple of weeks ago and Tim said that stewards would have to become more relaxed and agreed that a compromise had to be reached. Really hope that this compromise can mean that the 50-60 people at the back of L1 will be allowed to stand at all games should they wish to. What do foxes trust reckon about it?

We are pleased, the comments we have observed so far all indicate a change of attitude as you have stated.

We are glad the meeting was relatively well attended in comparison to the previous one & it came across quite clearly from the fans there that things had to change & the club acted.

This time this backed up our survey which came to a similar conclusion, therefore it was worth the open meeting getting all the parties together, which again was our suggestion and it has delivered results.

We await Lush's admittance that it wasn't a waste of time after all :)

I have no doubt that the heavy handed approach will return if and when the stadium starts to fill up again.

will be a long wait. What you will get is Lush persisting in saying it was a waste of time, asking exactly what has changed, ignoring every one who says it has and @ some point say " nobody has yet explained what has actually changed."

Well hats off, so far its been a success, a gambler would be proud ;)

I`d love to see evidence of any heavy handed approach?

was in L1 on saturday and it was fantastic. the police were so relaxed with no ejections throughout the match. they let us stand ( about 25 rows did give or take a few) and me and the people i went with had one of the best times we have had at the walkers stadium. see lush these meetings do make a difference as shown on saturday any other week and 10 more people would have been added to the ban list.

well done the foxes_trust and Lisa and all who helped make the game on saturday thouroughly enjoyable for the crowd in L1

funny how the game that all stewards are relaxed we see the best atmosphere this season?

we were winning though

OUR club has been forced by stupidity, to break the law. If ANY of the 22,382 had sustained an injury due to standing, OUR ground could`ve been closed down. But im glad the few hundred of you enjoyed yourselves at the expense of 20,000 city fans.

Had the worst occurd, foxes trust and lisa etc, would`ve been having sleepless nights, sweets and cold shivers, and this website might`ve been told to stop promoting illegal behaviour.

Do you drive a car Lush?

- Well I wouldn't if I was you, you might get injured........

Bet the numbers injured in car accidents per year out strips those injured in stadiums by 1'000's of %'s.

Would that be for the shock then?

Its LEGAL to drive, its NOT legal to stand, you broke the law.

"the club will not have the ground closed Lush if some 200 people stand".

Only if the law makers dont notice.

You guys are so selfish.
