toonboy Posted 29 November 2005 Share Posted 29 November 2005 If a lot of people vote for someone clearly as a joke, like Crouch or Gary Pratt, who ran Ponting out, would they just ignore it or would they have to give them the trophy? Unless something like that does happen Flintoff will win it by a mile and i think Ricky Hatton should be up there to.

Head Honcho Posted 29 November 2005 Share Posted 29 November 2005 Voted for Flintoft myself but I have a feeling his vote may get diluted because of people voting for Vaughn, who IMO deserves the award just as much!

Jay Posted 4 December 2005 Share Posted 4 December 2005 according to the Daily Mirror yesterday Liverpool fans have hijacked the voting with an internet campaign for this years event to make Peter Crouch the BBC sports personality of the year!!! according to the BBC they can stop multiple votes but can't do anything when 1000's send single emails and Crouch is currently second just behind Freddy Flintoff!!!! it would be shocking  but funny if he won!!!!!
Hitesh Posted 4 December 2005 Share Posted 4 December 2005 Peter Crouch! lol lol My vote goes to Freddy. I also think that the team performance will go to Liverpool for the Champions League! But a "special" award for the Ashes team.
marko Posted 4 December 2005 Share Posted 4 December 2005 Vaughan for me, his captaincy was spot on creative fields settings and excellent bowling changes. But i bet Freddie will win it.
